I love the atmosphere and the welcoming that I get from the waitresses and staff as soon as I walk in the front door. The decor and color scheme is amazing in this place ( I love the copper bar counter top) The food here is a 11 out of 10. I have eaten here at Rennee several of times and not once have I been unhappy about one of my meals. Of course I will be coming back. I love it in there and the food taste so good.

My classmates had a class reunion meeting at Renee’s. This was my first time visiting. My sister and I placed a takeout order. I had fried catfish, yams, cabbage, cornbread and lemon cake! Boy oh boy! De-li-ous!!! I highly recommend this place. It was so good, I had to call her and thank her over the phone! One thing I know for sure, you won’t be disappointed! Very reasonable prices. Cheaper than going through a fast food drive thru, and homemade at that! Don’t sleep on it!

"I recently tried out this restaurant that I heard about on TikTok with a friend, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Parmesan fish with yams and Mac and cheese, while my friend went for the fried fish with collard greens and potato salad. Both dishes were delicious and we couldn't get enough. The atmosphere of the restaurant reminded me of Harlem nights, which added to the overall experience. The waiter and the owner were incredibly pleasant and made us feel right at home. I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their tasty dishes. Highly recommend this place for a great dining experience!"Parking: They have two hours parking.

My last and final time going to Rennee's! I was charged $46.00 and change for 2 drinks and 1 crab dip. A $6.30 "service fee" was added to my bill without my knowledge, and I've NEVER paid that before on top of $5 and something for taxes!! The owner was also sitting at the bar watching the waitress as she poured the liquor ' monitoring' our cups while drinking herself!! The waitresses name was Tia, and she was RUDE!! I had a $10 tip for her, but after I saw those charges and her attitude, I kept it, and to add I got my items TO GO, so what were these service fees for??!! NEVER AGAIN!! ???

So, my review is on not sharing with customers that there is auto gratuity added to their bill. I have no problem with auto gratuity and truly support it. My problem is not telling me. No signs, don’t recall seeing on menu and the server knowing auto was on the bill did not sharing with me. My part size was 3. She told me my total price on the handheld. Didn’t disclose the auto gratuity and then had the nerve to add an additional 20% tip to my tab. Had I not asked for my itemized receipt or to look at the handleheld, I would had paid an additional $40 in gratuity. Now, I was going to let it slide but it’s happened to others I know and it needs to stop. Full transparency goes a long way. Photo one is what she told me the total was prior to me asking for my itemized receipt and to see the handheld. Photo two is what the itemized receipt shows. Photo three is me adjust the handheld because I’m already being charge gratuity. Overall, had I not asked for my receipt and/or looked at the handheld, I’d paid almost 40+% gratuity and her service nor the food was that good.
