The banana pudding was *chef kiss* I couldn’t stop eating it. It was that good. I will be back because a small is not enough. When I took my first bite I fell over because it was so yummy.

This is my new favorite bakery. I just wish they were closer so I'm not able to get here as much. I won the Christmas giveaway which consisted of 12 cupcakes, a gallon of pink lemonade, and banana pudding. While there, I purchased 2 of their famous cinnamon buns. Omg! They are amazing! I've had their banana pudding before and it is wonderful! The cupcakes will be for tomorrow's Christmas gathering. As always, service was impeccable and everything is delicious!!

Oh. My. Goodness. These are honestly one of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life. I ordered a box of the unicorn dream for myself and my niece, and they were so moist and delicious. My niece and I ate them all in one sitting. We will be back tomorrow for more.

Customer service was lacking today. I went in today with my daughter and said hello - TWICE - to the woman working there with no response. There were only a few cupcakes left and after the non-greeting, I wasn’t about to spend any more time in the store, let alone spend money. Won’t be back.

You HAVE to visit the pink box! This bakery is tucked away in the back of the Harbour view marketplace (close to the theater and cold stone).. When you walk in, it's bright, clean and very well organized. This delicious little sweet haven is proudly a black, woman owned business! Ms. Gwen & her employees are absolutely the nicest most customer oriented around. I came in for a Yelp event & after getting a taste, I was eager to have MORE so I came back to purchase more. Her cupcakes are so moist & fresh! There is no artificial taste, only natural blissful flavors. The strawberry cupcake had a creamy yummy jam type consistency hidden in the middle, that just made the flavor profile EXPLODE. The caramel cupcake was the perfect balance of sweet and savory! I love when you have a sweet topping & the cake isn't overly worked with sugar! NAILED IT. Their signature pink iced cupcake also did not disappoint. I consider myself a cake type dessert lover but honestly Gwen has switched me over to puddings! Her banana pudding was a taste of PURE HEAVEN. It had the right amount of creamy, crunch and did not feel heavy like banana pudding can tend to be! I'm actually planning another trip back this week to purchase a couple. Last but certainly not least, the homemade pink lemonade was so refreshing & really hit the spot after a variety of sweets. Suffolk is a little far from my house in Hampton but after speaking with Gwen, she says they spotlight at the farmers market in Yorktown so both sides of the water can truly indulge! DO NOT MISS OUT on The Pink Box- these ladies are incredible & such good people. Support local & tell them I sent you! Thank you so much Pink Box.

I tried this place years ago when they first opened and then again last week. I remembered the service not being great the first time, and I was disappointed to find that it hadn't improved much. The person at the front was nice but there was no greeting or small talk and both times it felt kinda awkward. It is also quite plain inside and doesn't have that fun welcoming feel that I've seen at some other cupcake shops. I will say the red velvet cupcake I ordered was pretty good though. They have a wide selection of cupcakes and aren't overly pricey. Although I haven't had the best experiences, I probably will go back one day and try it again.
