One of the staff at North Mountain was very rude to us on our last visit. It went so horribly wrong and we will not be going back. There are so many other vineyards around that we do not need to get treated this way by a staff member.

This winery has a very nice variety of wines available, which were delicious! The girls at the counter were so nice. We will definitely return.

Charming place with good food and wine. We look forward to returning.

Wasn’t too impressed with this location. It gave me a “grandma’s house” vibe with the style, and the white wines that my wife tried were not too impressive. The midnight red was pretty good.

It's a very cute and cozy place. The wine itself though is nothing to write home about. Out of 5 wines my husband only cared for the midnight red.

$20 tasting seems expensive. Nice person upfront but the inch long nails and coughing grossed me out.

A beautiful little German style winery. Tucked away off of Route 81 nestled between the hills is the second oldest vineyard in the Shenandoah. Founded in 1985 as I understand it with its original vines still growing. We had a nice little sit down and enjoyed a wine flight tasting. My wife did the reds and I tried the semi-sweet flight. We also bought some cheese and crackers and enjoyed our tastings outside on the nice deck. The wines are pretty good. The semi-sweet flight is perfect for those who like a little sweetness but def not dessert wine! Def recommend!
Set in the rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley, this fine winery welcomes you with true Virginiam hospitality. Often featuring live music events, this is a great spot to share a toast with friends!

Wonderful experience! We tried ten wines and loved all of them (which is quite rare for us)! We've tried many VA wines throughout the years and were impressed during our first visit.

Just Incredibile. Very friendly staff and amazing wine. All in all an amazing time.

Great wines in an appealing setting. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon. Servers were attentive and when delayed they were very apologetic. We all enjoyed the wine. The rose was our least favorite which is unusual. We are all rosé drinkers. We enjoyed tastings then got a bottle of Cab Franc and Riesling. Lots of different seating areas. Today they had music and a taco truck. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the music. A great way to spend a fall afternoon!!

What a great find! We took a chance when we saw the sign from the highway. Such a cute spot. Lots of wine to choose from. And some award winning wines! They give you a full rundown on all the wines. Fun decor and some trinkets you can buy. The wine was good. Nothing blew our socks off but it was tasty.
