My 11 year old and I shared the smash burger and fries. It was fortunately enough for the two of us to share. I.50 was added to our bill when we chose fries. That’s not a big deal except it wasn’t clear to me that it was an up charge on the menu. The service was fast and attentive. I came here and had lunch with a coworker. The Tun Tavern is very quaint, and there might be a 20-minute wait, but it's well worth it. I had a smashburger, and my coworker had a reuben; everyone enjoyed their meal.I'm looking forward to going back to the National Museum of the Marine Corps and visiting the Tun Tavern to try some of their other offerings.
