The food was good, just like every CPK. It's what keeps us coming back! The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was fun.The service was just OK. Our server wasn't very warm or engaging. She seemed a bit bothered, but she got everything correct and refilled our drinks. It could have just been an off day, and it didn't ruin our visit. It was just not what we were accustomed to from CPK staff.The hostess, however, was rude! She wasn't rude to us, but she wasn't friendly. She was very rude to another customer who was dining alone. She tried to seat the customer at a table that was very small for the customer's size and was also in a busy walkway. The customer politely asked if she could sit at another, close by table, and the hostess said it wasn't available, even though no one was sitting there. So the customer asked for another table on the other side of the restaurant, and the hostest suggested she just sit at the tiny table she was standing at. The customer was clearly getting uncomfortable and embarrassed and pointed out a third table that she would prefer. The hostess finally relented, but she was not happy about it. Luckily, the customer's server jumped in and was extra friendly and made her feel welcome and comfortable.It was an uncomfortable situation to watch. The hostess should have been more intuitive and sensitive when seating someone of larger size and someone who was sitting alone. A customer's comfort should be taken into account and accommodated when the restaurant has multiple available tables. It wasn't busy.

Their specialty Korean BBQ pizza was tasty. The dumplings were not very good or authentic. They were slimy and seemed undercooked. The drinks were just okay. They have a pretty limited menu and only one pizza size. It was pretty expensive, $20 for a 6 slice pizza was not worth it. Overall the price point, food quality and menu options don’t make it a place I would return.

I ordered a new salad with salmon and was extremely disappointed with not only its small size, slightly larger than an appetizer salad, but how poorly prepared it was. I immediately returned the plate to the server and told them that anyone would be crazy to pay $17.00 dollars for such a small salad which contained no noticeable salmon. I was told that it was a new menu itemI was so disgusted that they'd have the nerve to sell this lame dish I left the server with a tip since it wasn't her fault and just walked away. I am a frequent CPK diner at Fairfax Corner and can tell you this Tyson location needs help.

It has been a long time since I had poor customer service. I almost forgot it is even possible. But Jade at this location gave my family and I an experience we pray we get to forget.We arrived at the restaurant between 7:30 - 8pm on Sunday the 18th of February 2024. We were seated and soon after Jade came by and introduced herself. We quickly realized that she was rushing us to order which we did. Upon ordering our drinks. She proceeded to return with drinks in the order they were ready. At this point half of our table that had 4kids, worriedly pointed out that our waitress had just been mean and rude to them. The oldest a 16yr old proceeded to explain that when they got their drinks. The youngest (a 7yr old) noticed she was the only one who did not have a straw. So between all their excitement to be out at dinner together she proceeded to note that she hadn't gotten a straw and asked for one. Jade noted that the 7yr old had not said please in a mean tone. Once 7yr old said please. Jade threw the straw at the 7yr old.The kids were mortified.That night, my 7yr old had an awful night. She had her first ever experience of food poisoning. At the restaurant she had the kids mac and cheese.She was later sick and throwing up from 4am Monday morning and continued that way till around 2pm.This is the second time I have been to a CPK (not the same location) and surprisingly not had great customer service. I will certainly never go to another. I know my 7yr old will never be convinced otherwise.Kid-friendliness: If I could rate at 0 I would.

The service was great. She even offered take home and cook $8/pizza, any pizza on the menu. So, we did.We ordered The Wrap for appetizer and was great. Few iceberg lettuce pices with some chicken and shrimp and brown sauce. That was great! The flavor of the sauce was excellent. We also ordered Thai Crunch Salad which was not so great. It just had chopped up napa lettuce with few chicken and chopped up cilantro. If really did have much taste to it.

I had a very disappointing experience today. The service was extremely disorganized and inefficient. It seemed like they hired inexperienced and slow staff members who couldn't understand our orders properly. To make matters worse, our server, Mary, didn't even know which tables were assigned to her. The name tags worn by the staff were also poorly made, with blue markers on black name tags. It's a shame because I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, but unfortunately, this visit will be our last.

The restaurant is not friendly to vegans or vegetarians. ALL salad options except for Caesar salad have meat in it!!! The offer the salad option without meat but I would have to pay same price as someone who ordered it with meat, and it’s the most expensive ingredient in the salad (based on the price of add-ons) - why would I pay same as a meat eater for the meat I won’t have in my salad?One day a restaurant will open that will deduct meat from the menu for vegans - I guarantee troves of clients. Will be first in line!
