Love their food! The lady that works there is so nice. I recommend their pepper steak and vegetable tofu soup.

I ordered garlic broccoli, something that you would THINK would never taste bad from the Chinese place. This was the most disgusting garlic broccoli. The sauce was watery, the broccoli was just SWEET and was barely cooked. The guy was so worried about how much I was going to TIP someone which is really rude to ask over the phone. It’s already overpriced me being from nyc and having to pay overpriced Chinese food here that is always a miss in this area is draining. This was my first and LAST time ordering from here.

Food not what I asked I requested, service dont care attitude perhaps female & was alone. To many unhappy 1st few minutes to stay. I just asked for a box to go. Went home added garlic & spice & made myself TEA for no charge. Been 8 yr since last visit. Now I know why. Good luck w business. I was the only customer at 545 approx. Suprised didnt have pay a toll to wash hands in the dark gloomy area. Waste of $20 & time. Only went to support locally.Parking: Parking in front of shopping center.

Worst experience ever and I haven’t even eaten there. Tried calling this place to place an order for the first time after being loyal to a different Chinese restaurant in oakton for over 8 years now. When I called to place the order a gentleman answered the phone with the worst customer service. I tried to be patience with him as I was ordering. However it got to the point that I couldn’t take his rudeness and told him I did not appreciate his attitude when I was being polite to him. If you don’t want to work don’t show up simple as that but don’t be rude and with attitude towards customers. I’m a big believer that we don’t have a job if no one buys. Please save yourself the irritation from being spoken too like they don’t need your business.

Food was good and ambiance looked like a nice place to dine in as well. They have a wide variety on their men. You can choose from Thai, Japanese as well as Chines. I will be a return customer

First thing I noticed as soon as I entered is the odor of the place. It smells like a middle low class apartment that wasn't cleaned well. After looking for a spot with a better smell, your best shot is to sit in the middle of the restaurant. Food was good!!! The fried calamari was too salty for my liking but the chicken and shrimp was dope The service was a little awkward but I think it's a cultural barrier but I guess that makes the food better, straight from china The kitchen lady was amazing, her mood was a vibe. Defo Imma get her number. 7.5/10 I will recommend.

This was one of our favorite places when we lived in Vienna 7 years ago. I was feeling nostalgic, so we decided to order some food to take back to our hotel in Mosaic. The young guy who took our order was dismissive and rude. I felt like we were being an imposition, taking time away from him looking at his phone. We sat at a table to wait for our food, and when I got it I specifically asked, "Did you include all the sauces in there?" He responded with a curt, "Yes." Paying the bill, we included a 20% tip! (stupid me) So, when we got back to the hotel room and opened the bag, there was one packet of soy sauce, one mustard. That was it!!! No dipping sauce for the (burned) fried dumplings, and no sauce for the sweet and sour chicken!!! Of course, we're not driving all the way back for a container of sauce. So disappointing! I am not sure who took over ownership of this place but the food and service has gone completely downhill. I cannot recommend this place any more.

On Mondays, many restaurants in the Vienna area are closed. We were happy to find that Hunan Delight was open for lunch. We had the whole restaurant to our selves for a "sit down lunch"; they did have a lot of carry out business. We had previously been here many times with large groups of people. This is one of only a few Chinese restaurants that will prepare "Crispy Beef". Just remember to tell them whether you want it "spicy" or "not spicy".

All dished looked and tasted the same, with overuse of sugar. If you respect the culture, respect their food.(Also group ordered delivery and got missing items.)Chinese dish is NOT cooked by first deep fry everything in oil second coat everything with sweet sauce third throw carrot and broccoli in there.

Please save yourself the frustration and money and do not order here. The food tastes like they pulled it out of the freezer and microwaved it. I spent $30+ for dinner and couldn't stomach more than a few bites. Disgusting!!

I am doing this aside from my food blog because I live in this area….This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Vienna area. I’ve tried the trendy places in Mosaic ($$/bad parking), and some of the regular Vienna spots like LG and CV… they’re all good but they feel robotic and all about business. But this place just gives me a feeling to come back, that family mom and pop feel, a brick and mortar vibe which my whole family loves. The staff and owners just have that take-care-of-your-family-first charm. Make sure to order their house spicy oil on the side, gives a great flavor any dish (even when I’m cooking on my own).Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options like most Chinese/fusion restaurantsKid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly, very nice staff and accommodatingParking: In a plaza with a massive parking lot so even if restaurant is near full there is plenty of off-street parking

Food was extremely dry and unseasoned. Was very skimp on the crispy chicken. Was not worth $60. Had to recook my food just to add flavor also items were not FRESH!!! You can tell that the food was prepared before time of pickup. Extremely disappointed. In my opinion if you want good Chinese food order from China express in Tyson’s. I live walking distance from Hunan but now I will no longer get food from them first and last time customer.

The good: there were four large shrimp in the Shrimp with Vegetables, and a generous quantity of beef in the Beef with Broccoli. The bad: the egg rolls were completely undercooked, not at all crispy, and the pastry inside was raw. The filling was shredded cabbage only. The large (3") broccoli pieces in both dishes were raw. The fried rice wasn't fried rice. No egg, no veggies, nothing. It was plain old white rice with a bit of soy sauce stirred in. Hunan Delight are cooking to the standards of 30 years ago, when substandard Chinese food was acceptable. And due to the laziness in their cooking, they don't even get there. Note: according to fda.gov, "Never eat or taste raw flour, dough, or batter." It's a health hazard.
