Normally we love the food. This visit, horrible! The lettuce wraps were like soup overcooked, with so much liquid, and the pieces of chicken were like minced very small. The basil duck delicious, but my husband orders the pad beef something, and again like soup, not grilled, soggy and no noodle or rice. Come on, i loved you before and have brought friends and family there. New chefs? $50 for a meal for two take out. Ehhhh I will find better

The food was ok. Serve was quick, staff was friendly.

Food was cold - paid way too much to get a small box of cashew shrimp since the box was 1/3 full. Use to be a good restaurant. Don’t know what happened. Done with this place.

I have been to Tom Yum Thai for years, and this was my last day. This is my third incident the same thing happened. I bought Pad Thai with EXTRA chicken (with extra fee, of course) and it came out like this. I asked the front desk very politely when I opened the package "I'm sorry, but this isn't what I used to get for extra chicken, is this extra chicken?" he replies "yes, it's extra chicken" I then said "Does this seem extra chicken to you?" he replies "yes it's extra chicken." Look, I don't think this is a big deal (thus I gave them the benefit of the doubt twice), but I didn't really appreciate them short-selling your regular customer for the third time

Staff were very kind. The food was very tasty, and service was fast. I definitely recommend going here if you are craving Thai food!

This spot is awesome! Affordable rates, considerable portions and the staff are regularly welcoming.

Grabbed takeout dinner this week from Tom Yum Thai after not being there in ages. No dine-in option there yet. As ever, the regular salad is a pass (mostly pale iceberg lettuce), but the spicy eggplant is tasty and has quite a kick, the Pad Thai is good, and my wife still likes their green curry. Thai options have been dropping in Vienna, at least in quality, so I'm glad that TYT is still cooking.

We’ve been going to Tom Yum Thai for many years. It’s pretty good Thai food around this area, even my Thai friend enjoy their dishes, but that’s all before COVID. Their quality and portion has went down drastically since March 2020. We ordered back in May and was really disappointed - with the portion cut down almost half, no utensil for take outs, dessert-level sweetness for drunken noodle. We had to toss the dishes right away... We wanted to support local business and also thought their food quality might be impacted due to COVID transition, so we ordered again tonight. But oh boy, worst decision ever. This time, the drunkun noodle was not salty at all, I had to add salt myself; the crispy chicken was saggy and sweet like dessert...If you don’t mind surprises, they’re not bad - you can get a sweet drunkun noodle one day and a non-salt one another day depends on your luck. If you don’t like surprises like me, I’d say bring your business elsewhere. A couple other Thai restaurants in this area are pretty good and cheaper too. At least they deliver consistent quality food and you know what you’re expecting. Good luck!

This place is obviously one of the most attractive restaurants in the region. Every time I go there I am highly pleased. They preserve their high level service and the highest level of cooking they provide. You no doubt will love this place. Very recommended.

Food was pretty meh compared with other nearby Thai restaurants a short dive away. The pineapple rice we ordered today had very little flavor and seasoning, and the rice quality was not there (either that or it was mushy/overcooked). On the plus side, there was a LOT of it (equals leftover for a kid). The Penang curry was oddly very, very, very sweet. Tasted good but had lots of (thick tough) beef. There were one or two vegetable pieces in there...not sure if I should have more or it accidentally got dropped in. This was the only very hot (not warmish) item on our takeout order. When we opened the small (extremely small) box of partially burned rice that went with the curry, we found a hair dug into our food. Yuck. We also probably would have needed two or three times as much rice as what was provided. The Tom Yum soup (base) tasted off, sadly, with flavorless poached chicken.I don't know if the kitchen was having an off day, but my family doesn't plan on returning.

ZERO STARS!!!!I am not one to ever write reviews but after the way they took care of this situation I have to.Aside from a piece of hair that I decided not to make a fuss about.. there was a PAPER TOWEL, napkin.. whatever you want to call it COOKED in with my pad thai (pictures below) I am beyond disgusted. For all i know it could be a old used paper towel. I am literally sick to my stomach. I contacted them asap, and they did not care. They did not even apologize to me. All they told me to do was contact uBereats for a refund. I should of read all the yelp reviews first as someone has mention finding a cockroach in their food (they even provided pictures). I am not one to write reviews or complain but at a time like this (covid-19) you guys should be WAY more sanitized and on top of it. EDIT: After calling and speaking to someone who works there, they have decided to block me on ubereats. This stops me from ordering from them in the future (which i would NEVER) and also stops me from rating/reviewing them on the app.
