I've always loved Red Jasmine. My favorite is the Thai dumplings & shrimp red curry. Anytime I am in town I stop by and grab some. I'm never disappointed and I'm always greeted with a smile.

This place is quite strange. I thought I would try it today so when I arrived to pick it up I had to wait five minutes while the lady answered a phone call and walked to the back before acknowledging me. My bag of food layed on the counter the whole time while I waited for her to check me out. The lady wasn't friendly at all, she asked if I ordered the items she mentioned, and that was it. No hello, no thank you. Plus I was the only customer in the restaurant. I don't recommend this restaurant. I have no plans on ordering from here again.

We ordered 3 things:1. Thai rolls- crispy and tasty, dipping sauce was thin2. Yellow curry (chicken)- average flavor, meat/vegetables ratio was disappointing3. Teriyaki chicken- lots of garlic, nicely steamed broccoli, unfortunately, the chicken was very thin and rubbery...not edible!

I find the food here to be very good and tasty. I can't say I'm an expert in Thai food but when compared to other Thai restaurants I've been to Red Jasmine is very good. We've had all the curry dishes and have beef excellent. I have also had the Bangkok duck and was cooked and tasted great. The Pad Thai also was very good along with the Chicken Satay. So far I haven't had a bad meal from there and the service has been very good and they will adjust to flavor or hotness.

Don't let the drab exterior fool you..this is a top-notch Thai restaurant. I went at the recommendation of a local and could not have been more impressed! Everything was very fresh; crisp vegetables, great seasonings, fantastic dumplings. I highly recommend a visit here if you are in town.

Very good food, and I don’t mind paying a premium for fresh, authentic, flavorful food.... but the serving size was ridiculous for a $15 dinner. I had the mango curry chicken and it was so very good, but was less food than I’d expect for even a lunch. The chicken was good and tender, but only 2.5 to 3 ounces present at most. The sauce was rich and complex and perfectly balanced... but I was still hungry when I was done. Too expensive for what you get. Won’t be back.

Thai food at this place - excellent. It was so tasty. The service was friendly and sociable. The place has a good atmosphere. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I loved.

The curries were really bland and dry (the red curry had almost no broth). The chicken in the curries was also dry. The portions were small for the price. Overall, we feel like we completely wasted our money. This was by far the worst Thai restaurant we have ever eaten at.

So for Vinton it is good Thai. Now most Thai food has to have kefir lime leaves. This place did not use this, most likely to cut cost. Overall good food. It's just with Thai it's about building depth of flavors.

Good food, but did not get an itemized bill.Menu and prices not up to date. Pricey food for the amount of serving. Probably will not return.

I've been going there for years and have always been pleased. The dishes are authentic (and delicious!) and service is prompt and responsive. THE place to go for Thai.

Enjoying great meal. 1st time visit. Sweet hostess and the food is delicious. We had pad thai, 3 amigos, and mango curry with pork. All were great. May be our new favorite thai restaurant.
