A lot of appetizers and even a meal or two. All of their veges are outstanding. And they are great at adding our removing things from meals.Parking: There is a lot of parking as it is at the mall, but the spaces are kinda tight, so park correctly and not with a giant car.“
“This is the kind of place you’d find in a bigger city! There are very few other restaurants in Roanoke at this caliber. Top 3 in the area for sure. Definitely recommend calling in for a reservation ahead of time - they don’t have long hours and fill up quickly. Cocktails are creative, and typically on point. I absolutely LOVE their Chicken Liver Mousse and my husband said the Oyster Rockefeller some of the best he’s ever had. Brother Mike got "fancy nancy croissant sandwich" he said he was expecting more of the variety of ingredients that usually are in it, and I had 3 scoop plate(fruity fran, cranberry kelli, and dixie chick). I really appreciated the huge leaf of lettuce on the plate and would recommend that all the people who don't eat bread are to get extra pieces of lettuce to eat the scoops with. Now i have another idea with 13 different scoops to choose from, all 13 flavors on 1 plate and plenty of lettuce leaf to indulge in all CHICKEN SALAD CHICK has to offer. $24.78 for the 2 of us, we had water to drink. Place is clean, staff was friendly, spacious seating, plenty of parking.“
“Classic dining experience in an elegant dining room! A combo was playing dinner music and a few couples were dancing. The food surpassed our expectations! We had great fish and seafood dishes, and many menu items are done with a Southern touch. Service was gracious and not rushed, which made for a lovely experience all around.“

“No clue why this place does not have a 4.5 or higher rating. The service was courteous and fast. We have had terrible experiences at other locations. From dry biscuits to under seasoned chicken. This place delivered us a hot buttery biscuit with a perfectly spiced chicken filet with the crispiest edges. We also indulged in a picnic of their hashbrown. They were SO crispy and delicious. This was all delivered so fast and with a smile at 8:30ish in the morning and it made our day. Highly recommend stopping at this location on your next road trip“
“The Thursday special, turkey and dressing was delicious. It came with sweet potato casserole and cranberry sauce. The turnip greens were good as usual. The server who helped me was excellent! She seemed to read my mind. I also had a carry out. The country ham was plentiful with dumplings and turnip greens. I will definitely be back at Cracker Barrel. They serve consistently good food.“
