The atmosphere is amazing, they have great music happening and even better beer/ food. Going to 1608 is a part of our weekly routine as for how great the food is, it is cheap.
One of my favorite places in the entire area, ESPECIALLY when the chef is going off with his specials. He does things with flavors that blows my mind. I actually go though a mourning phase knowing I may never get to have them again.Luckily the standard menu is fantastic too. The ribeye with the marrow butter is hnnng.

Excellent oysters with a great happy hour price! Shrimp and grits were great as was the bone marrow. Service was excellent!
Food is overpriced and for what you’re eating, it’s not that great. The burgers taste very weird.

There are some impressive reviews posted for this place, but I guess I'll never know why since they insisted there was a 45 minute wait for a table for 2 even though I could clearly see more than half the seats inside were empty and there was plenty of seating outside as well with only 3 people already sitting outside. All we could do was laugh and walk back out.

Dined here for the first time with my family- I was blown away with the attentiveness of our waiter. He noticed my son was trying to steal the pickle from the top of my burger, so he brought out at extra pickle. He made sure to put the kids meals in first too, because he knew kids could get impatient. Especially toddlers.. My burger was also one of the best I’ve had in a long time! My husband is from Louisiana and he’s picky on food when, he even agreed the food here was great! And when they say big pretzels.. they mean BIG.

Was pleasantly surprised. The waiter there was awesome. I actually asked if he was the owner. My son loved his burger and also the wings. Fries were awesome. Next time I go there I will be more adventurous but we got the bacon burger. It was delicious!!! I recommend if you wanna try something new. Waiters were awesome. Never went throughout my meal with an empty glass of water
