I took my mom out here for her birthday. I intended for this to be a brunch date, but I learned upon arrival that brunch is only served on Sundays lol SO we had lunch. This restaurant is located inside of the beautiful Cavalier!Parking - It’s valet only, but it’s $5 and you pay and tip after. We sat in the back of the restaurant where the most naturally lit seating is! Great atmosphere.I browsed all of the menus and the lunch options were my least favorite ? the food we ordered didn’t disappoint though. Sean J., our amazing waiter, had great recommendations! We had the lobster bruschetta for an app.My mom had the herb roasted French dip and I had the braised short rib chasseur. My mom LOVED hers. The short rib was delicious, but could’ve been seasoned better. The dish also has lots of mushrooms so if you love them, you will love this dish. If you are like me and hate mushrooms, make sure you ask them to not include it ?.The service was outstanding from beginning to end. Sean was always a step ahead! He had our check prepared without us having to wait. I told him it was my mom’s birthday and he acknowledged her every step of the way!I certainly recommend coming here!

Food had good flavor, but was not hot! Our soup and all entrees came out lukewarm at best. Unacceptable especially considering the price. Service was slow. Unfortunately a disappointing experience.

We had made a reservation at Becca for brunch. Prior to our visit I had a question about the menu and tried to call for clarification. When the phone was answered it was a computer message that lasted for close to three minutes, and then rather than connect me with a host suggested that I go to the website and make a reservation.Undeterred, I called the Cavalier Hotel, assuming the front desk could transfer me to the restaurant. Here I was treated to a 3:28 phone message telling me how great the hotel was, but not offering me a link to the front desk. Finally I convinced the computer that I needed to talk with a real person, and it agreed to connect me.A full 10:58 later I was connected with the national Marriott reservation line. Nothing to do with the Cavalier! When I told the gentleman my problem he gave me a new number to try.Sadly, that was the direct line to one of the catering managers who was not working on Sunday.I am shocked that what is supposed to be a premier hotel property, and a highly regarded restaurant within that property, can't afford to have their phones answered by a human being during normal business hours. We went to another restaurant where actually talking with potential guests is more of a priority.

We were really looking forward to going but unfortunately it was an absolute disaster. Our waiter was so stoic you could tell he didn’t want to be there. We had an array of issues from over cooked food, no drink refills, having to share 1 steak knife, waiting for salt to the point my food was cold. Then i was given an empty salt shaker. Almost 10 minutes of trying to waive the wait staff down and having them look at you then ignore you. Biggest let down. And on a side note the main entrance going to the restaurant was so heavily perfumed with rose potpourri I started getting a migraine. Do better guys

Beautiful room and delicious, healthy food choices. But the amplification of voices is a big problem. People speak too loud and unfortunately the beautiful garden room has poor acoustics. Can something be done structurally to make it quieter? Even a note attached to the menu would be welcome. It's just extremely impolite to speak so loudly in restaurants ❤️.

I'll start with the good. The food though was amazing! Wine list is great too, but they really mark up the price of the wines. The ambiance too was great. The not so good- Even though the restaurant was pretty empty they put my Husband and I at a table at the very back of the restaurant in a room all by ourselves. It was very odd and it felt like we were being judged and hidden, Our server was good at serving the food, getting it right, but hardly any conversation and again we felt judged by him.

The food was fine but the service and treatment we received was poor at best. We got there earlier than our reservation and were told we could wait in the lobby bar area. When we followed those directions we were approached by staff saying that there was a private party going on in the bar area. Others following the same directions were not approached. Just us. We were told we would receive a text when our table was ready, but that didn’t happen. We had to go back to the check-in desk to inquire about our table. We had been forgotten. Once seated, my husband received the wrong side dish and never received the drink that he ordered. This treatment isn’t acceptable at any restaurant but certainly isn’t acceptable at a restaurant that markets themselves as an upscale establishment.

Do not waste your time or money!!! They do not GAF. Took wife and family here for her birthday and was very disappointed. Our server took 20 minutes to take our drink orders, then another ten to tell us the specials. We ordered two apps and never saw her again. For 35 minutes we waited to order entrees. But by the time she did we were already disgusted by the burnt popovers. When we did get our food over an hour later, my pork chop was totally raw, my wifes gnocci had already died in the heat window long before it was taken by a food runner who didn't even look at the plate. We sent it back, it came back microwaved. I ended up briging my raw pork chop home to my dogs.We couldn't get drinks when we wanted them, it is unacceptable $300 for a terrible meal and experience. Dishes sat stacked on our table. Just look at the cameras and you will see. We were all going to get dessert but didn't want to be there another hour. We were really looking forward to eating here. Then we we got the check, it had charged me for two gnoicci and just to fix get my bill corrected took another 10 minutes.Went home hungry. Had to make a small dinner because we were still hungry. The dog really tore up his raw pork chops. We will never dine here again. Don't believe the hype, they only bussed the tables when we stacked the plates and glasses into one corner of the table.

I'd give it a 1 star but the waitress was actually really nice. The tofu we received was extremely bland and tasteless outside just being charred. The food itself took over an hour to arrive it took 30 minutes to get checks in a mostly cleared out restaurant. 100% not worth the prices listed they must be extremely understaffed for how slow it was.

Wedge salad had a bit too much dressing. Prime rib was not very tender. Potatoes were good but asparagus and tomato Florentine were not very good. Our waitress was very good, really enjoyed her.

First time there and really enjoyed the prime rib off season Wednesday special. Waiter was so attentive and kind. Even brought gluten free bread for our friend when she couldn't eat the delicious popover. We didn't even ask. Hope to go back again
