I recently dined at Black Angus Restaurant in Virginia Beach, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and cozy, perfect for a special night out or a casual dinner with friends.Let's talk about the food – absolute perfection! The Rib Eye was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, just the way I like them. And the seafood options were equally impressive; fresh and expertly prepared. Each dish was a culinary delight, leaving me wanting more with every bite. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Our glasses were never empty, and every request was promptly met with a smile. The attention to detail at Black Angus is truly commendable. From the presentation of the dishes to the quality of ingredients used, it's evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft. This is the best place on the Great Neck Corridor!Overall, my experience at Black Angus Restaurant was nothing short of outstanding. It's now my go-to spot whenever I'm craving delicious steak and seafood. If you're in Virginia Beach and looking for a five-star dining experience, look no further than Black Angus. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I went to the restaurant for the first time to celebrate our book. We had a wonderful wait person named, Misty, who guided us thru the menu, and was very professional. I am picky on Prime Rib. I ordered the smaller size and it was wonderful. One of the best I have had in town. You can get a side of sauces, etc for the prime rib also .My husband had the sautéed mushrooms. I loved the she-crab soup, because it was full of crabmeat. Warm crusty bread is also served.I would go back for the prime rib and soup over and over. There are many vegetarian choices and an extensive bar menu and dessert menu. We were full so we skipped dessert. My husband is tall and I am short, so we chose one of the four top tables (they have about 4) to give us more room. There are many other tables, but these were good for us. While we arrived at 5pm, around 6:30 a few familys with kids came in. Nice atmosphere. For us it will be a special night place to go.

Went out for my boyfriend’s birthday friday night with myself and our friend, so three of us total. Our bill was $395. We started with 3 orders of the oyster rockefeller, almost $60 and they were all burnt, overcooked, dry, with barely any cheese and bacon on them. The rest of the food was great. I had the lamp chops, my other two guests had filets. I really only have two complaints and that would be the o-roc and the service we got. The service was definitely much slower than it should have been. Our dirty rockefeller plates stayed on the table for too long, i finished my martini and it took our server a very long time to come back to ask if i wanted another one. Our Gimlet we ordered for my boyfriend was served on the rocks not up, which is traditionally incorrect. Our server seemed to have an attitude all night which was probably the most disappointing part because we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. I would have probably talked to a manager but our server seemed very irritated the entire night, so i didn’t want to cause trouble. She seemed like she did not have time for us. We still tipped 20% because we are all servers but I was quite disappointed with our time there.

We had family from Florida stopping by and wanted to have a steak. Black Angus was outstanding I have eaten at the oceanfront store was great. This was just as outstanding. The appetizer were to die for we had hush puppies, crab dip and chips and potato skins. The main courses were top notch crab cakes was all crab with very little filler, prime rib was great.Chicken was outstanding. The waitress was great. It was just an outstanding outing for our family. Next time we will have some of the deserts. Thank you Chris and your staffKid-friendliness: The boys both had chicken nuggets we had left overs for later on

We ordered out to do a family dinner at home for NYE. The prime rib I received was not seasoned at all. Great cut of meat but absolutely no seasoning at all. Creme Brulee pulled a hair out. I hope this is an isolated situation. We may try the restaurant out next time rather than ordering out. Though that should not change the way things are cooked.

Nothing like the one I went to at the beach years ago. Also seriously laughed when I saw the pictures on the menu online before I went there. They are stock photos with watermarks like iStock and Getty Images lmao. Take some pride in what you do. If you only go halfway with something, you’ll only get halfway.

Went here for my birthday dinner prices are a little high for appetizer we got the cocktail shrimp was given 4 yes 4 decent size shrimp with very little cocktail sauce and a wilted piece of lettuce for 12 dollars I chose a 12 ounce prime rib with a fried crab cake, garlic potatoes and broccoli the steak was huge and cooked as I liked now i felt for the cost there should have been more sides. All in all just ok nothing to brag about.
