Hidden Gem ?Everything was excellent the food was very good and nice and hot. It was 5 of us, everyone had something different. I tried all of their food and I didn't have not one complainant.It was all seasoned well. My favorite was the meatloaf, and pork chops. The sides we good as well.All of the staff was friendly. Our waiter CJ was excellent.Met the owner and she was so nice and pleasant. The entire restaurant wasclean especially the restoom.I will definitely go again and again.

This was a 1st visit & pick-up order and boy was it NOT disappointing!! The Fried Pork Chops were just as I'd hoped...not too thick and ready to make my white slided bread & mayo sandwich and since I had 2 chops, I could eat the other sliced off the bone (don't forget to naw the bone!!!! ?). The Cabbage was perfectly flavored & I'm so glad not salty... whew! OKAY.....and the CARROT SOUFFLE....WOW - more please!The Salisbury Steak smothered in perfect gravy & onions caused a vision of momma's kitchen along with the wonderfully seasoned (also not salty) Collard Greens and great Mac & Cheese!So know that I will be ordering other entrees because that was a GREAT 1st impression ?

Service& atmosphere is 4stars because our waitress was cool.Although my friend didn't eat her sides which were Mac/ cheese, cabbage and yams, the waitress got her a discount.The turkey wing (1)was barely seasoned & out of 3 sides only the cabbage passed for good. Yams were like mush maybe the cook was shooting for a souffle and if the Mac/cheese had been any drier... I would like to believe that was just a bad day for the chef,but unfortunately we won't be back for another taste. Good luck to the business

I have been waiting to come here and try the food, it was worth It. The service was spectacular. We had a large group and they were very accommodating. The chef came and checked on us and asked if we need anything. The food came out in a timely manner and they gave us mimosas since our group was all celebrating march birthdays. I ordered a Raspberry colada drink and it was amazing. Be careful. I drank it pretty quick and it crept up on me! lol I ordered the turkey wings, greens, and Lima beans. The cornbread brought to the table was perfect—and I don’t care for cornbread generally but the honey sauce! ?? would love to come back and try more menu items. Greens were a bit salty but still flavorful. Aside from that, no complaints!
Food is great. Portion size is astonishing. Like 1000/10 . The owner is personable. The only downside is that they don’t have a lot of employees so the service is slow.

After seeing advertisements for this black-owned business, the experience was extremely disappointing. First, we waited almost an hour to only receive food that was not seasoned or hot. The pork chops were beautifully fried but only had seasoning in the batter. The Mac n cheese was disgusting and sent back. The cabbage was cold. My sister’s liver with canned gravy was rancid and had to be returned. The collard greens were edible.The cornbread was decent for those who like sweet cornbread. The couple behind us (pic shown) took one bite of their food and left. Very disappointed and will not patronize this business again.
We had our dinner and date night there for about 14 couples and the food and service was amazing. I will be back, no doubt.

Lovely restaurant. However, my waitress was a bit clueless during my experience.Crabcakes had shells in them, didn't order a drink because every libation asked for, the bartender said it was either nasty or out of an ingredient.Later, I asked for Espolòn Tequila, and Gingerale and the bartender went to make it. 10 minutes later, he says they were out of Tequila.Upon receiving my check, the waitress kept adding another guests meal to my check.
