Cool steak house! Very casual atmosphere. Pick a table, pick a steak and be prepared for a delicious, reasonably priced steak dinner. My BF had the t-bone. It was cooked to perfection. Nice choice of sides. I had the grilled salmon. Cooked the way I requested. We shared the ridiculously delicious chocolate layer cake. We will definitely be back!Parking: Plenty of parking

We heard the Brass Bell was back but it Ain't a $ restaurant anymore. This use to be a place that was packed with great affordable steaks. The steaks look to be $35 now. Well, I ordered the Philly cheese steak for $13 added the fries for another $3.50. If you want to call what I got a cheese steak, you can get away with that, but don't put Philly in front of it. No doggie bags needed. Drinks were good and affordable, but that won't get us back. Sorry.

Not bad for a local bar and grill. The atmosphere is what can be expected. Good sports bar with plenty of TVs. Service was on point bartender knew it she was doing and handling annoying inebriated customers. Good selection of liquors. Busy bathrooms. Tables are located a little close to the pool table. Staff was the best they even grabbed my crabby grandson while we ate for my husband's birthday dinner. The food is spot on and the steak rock solid. I always know im getting the best dinner when we come here

Definitely some place to visit if you enjoy sports, as they had multiple televisions with different games on. Place was half full and they had a pizza/chicken wings spread out (for free) for the games halftime.I had the advertised 14oz NY strip with g.beans, mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes & gravy.This is some place if you're not looking for it you might miss it but definitely worth the stop.

Friendly staff, great food. Definitely recommend this place. This hidden gem is worth the trip. Very clean place as well. (even the bathroom was clean) Steak was cooked perfectly for us.

When you first walk in "steakhouse" isn't the first thing that pops into your head. I ordered the porterhouse and my wife had the filet, at $33 a piece I was a bit skeptical. When the steaks came out they were gorgeous and cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious and the service was good. Good place to enjoy a steak, grab a drink and play some pool. Will definitely be back.

We met friends for an unexpected evening out. We started at Commonwealth Brewing and quickly moved to the Brass Bell. Sara was our server and provided friendly service. The burgers we ordered were delicious. It had been awhile since we visited and we will certainly return. Reasonable prices.

I has completely taken aback at how good this place is. Atmosphere was laid back and friendly and food was top notch. Traveling a lot makes finding a good meal hard but this is definitely my new VA Beach favorite when I am headed this way.
How disappointing - only gave it one star because this used to be one of my favorite places. Our evening started sitting at a table that had a dripping ceiling above it. Once I switched chairs, I was able to keep dry (no other tables were available). We ordered two burgers and fries. We sat and sat and sat only to be told 45 minutes later that one of their cooks was a "no show". We were sympathetic and willing to wait a little longer, BUT after an hour, our waitress returned and told us that our order was NEVER put in the system. Which story was true, we will never know. We thanked the waitress and told her we would go home to eat. We had ordered drinks and paid for them, although I honestly felt this should have warranted a manager's apology or explanation. The waitress didn't seem the slightest bit upset that we were leaving. Had I been in her shoes, I would have gone to my boss to ask what appropriate action should be taken to keep the customer happy. At the very least, I think a manager should know about this so it doesn't happen to others.

Currently at Brass Bell and this was the meal. The broccoli and steak were cold. I ordered Medium rare and it seems as if they forgot to put it on the grill. No taste.1/10 because the bread was sooo good. The worst plate of food I’ve ever had to pay for. Not to mention that it was a lil pricey.

We went at dinner time last night. It was terrible. I hate to say that. I've always told people they were the best. Never had a bad meal there until yesterday. My steak was full of grizzle and my baked potato wasn't done. We paid 62.70 plus tip and left. Other people were complaining so we since it was my fault we went there I just wanted to leave. Wasn't the anniversary I had hoped for.

It was good to see them open again. It's not the same Brass Bell of old. Food was OK, but a bit pricey even considering the higher prices of everything. A few suggestions. Table place mats would be a nice touch. Salads were warm, very sparse, and served on small flat plates. And they will add an individual "convenience fee" to your bill if you pay by credit card, Come on, Man! EVERY restaurant incurs a fee when a credit card is used, but they include that fee in your tab, without showing it as an extra cost on your tab. Kind of an annoying, chintzy, nickel-dime move there. We were mildly disappointed in the overall experience, We MIGHT be back and if things improve.

I haven't been here in about 12 years and my husband wanted steak for dinner. I couldn't handle another night at Texas Roadhouse so I suggested here. My daughter and husband had steak and I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Drink special was really tasty too. Our waitress was friendly but busy and that would be my only issue. Food came out in a timely manner but took awhile to get refills on drinks and get checked out. We were planning our next visit when we heard that they are closing for awhile. Hopefully it won't be for long
