I just paid 61 dollars for a burger and two buffets. The food on the buffet was cold and horrible. And slim Pickens They won't be in business long. They were shorthanded, we're are the owners. I will never go back to this place.

Sorry to say I heard good things about this place.food as good but the portion size for the price not so much. For 55.00 the 2 meats meal that should feed 4 not so much. I got a side of greens for 3.50 I got 2 to 3 bites I know greens are not that expensive. The baked beans were in the same size container. I’m sorry I don’t mind spending the money I know things have gone up but this was an 50.00 meal for 1 . Very disappointed

Food was good. We have had better. The interior hasn't changed much from when it was the other barbeque restaurant.

Food wasn’t bad but my chicken came out cold in the middle. The guy who works the cash register is quite rude but the kitchen staff who came out to do things were friendly to us.

I liked it. They had the absolute best sweet potato fries I've ever had from a restaurant. The people with me said the other location is better near Newport News.

The food can be hit or miss.It can go from Very Good to mediocre.Unless things have changed, they smoke the meats in one location (I believe Smithfield, VA) and transport them to the others. The pulled pork is usually good. (pulled pork warms up well)Last Sunday, I spend nearly $30 on a rack ribs that had been refrigerated and warmed up. They were too tough to eat.I would avoid the ribs and Chicken. The sides are average. If they can nail the consistency regularly this place would be five stars

Looking to try something different, we visited Frank N Bubba's. That turned out to be a mistake. First we walked in and there was NO ONE in sight. A gentleman came from the back and just looked at us. I was interested in the nachos, but wondered what was on them as the menu didn't say. The young man just looked at me... then turned like he was looking for someone. A moment of uncomfortable silence and another young man, with food in his beard, came from the back. He explained what was on them. I stated I would try them... he then said, "oh, wait, let me make sure we have the chips". It took him a moment to figure this out, and they were out of chips. My husband had already ordered, so I opted for the St. Louis style pulled pork entree, with cole slaw & sweet potato wedges. The only good part was the wedges. They were hot and tasty. The cole slaw was drowned in mayonnaise and had no flavor at all. The hush puppies were soggy and no flavor, the pulled pork was NOT St. Louis style, but some weird combination of Carolina style and I have no clue what.Even tho we ordered at the same time, my husband got his food a full 10 minutes before I got mine. I was just about to go ask when it was finally brought to our table. We will not be going here again!

I was expecting the same caliber of place as the Bubba and Frank's in Carolton, and it just wasn't there. We were all pretty disappointed with the food. The staff were very friendly and the place was nice. Food was meh.

Good solid barbecue. Brisket was very tasty- love the sauce they make even though I typically don't want my brisket sauces. Ribs were good. I dunno though the way every speck of tissue came off the bone with little effort masks me thing too much time on the pot or somebody boiled the rot s first. I am not a fan of parboiled barbecue. I know I will be going back to get more- so I will reserve judgement. The chicken was different but tasty. I usually like my pit. Hockey with just a rub on it no sauce. They had sauce on theirs it was sweet and tasty.I liked all the sides I have tried here except on. Macaroni and cheese- pasty and horrible flavor! Please do better. Your other food is too good! Loved the fried okra!

All sauces and smoked meat were freshly made and the workers were very knowledgeable on the products like all the questions I had about the sauces. Chopped pork sandwich was great. Fresh cut fries were great.

Don't waste your money! This is the worst barbecue on planet earth. Got the brisket which looked like dog food. It tasted awful. The sausage was burned and tasted awful as well. Atmosphere was terrible and servers looked sloppy. Mission Barbecue is much better. Take your money there. I would have posted zero stars but it likely would not let me post zero stars.
