Stopped by on my lunch break to check this spot out. I got an order of fried shrimp, a fish taco along with some hush puppies and a carrot cake. The restaurant has a to-go counter when you first walk in where you can make your order. I was greeted by a very nice employee who walked me through some decisions. She told me the hush puppies were good and when I asked her about her favorite fish to pair with the fish taco she recommended the catfish. When reviewing the desserts they had, I was interested in the carrot cake (I love carrot cake, and I'm on a kick right now trying different ones). She advised that the carrot cake was good and their best-selling dessert. I shortly received my food and decided to take a seat to try everything out at its prime, freshly served. Starting with the shrimp, they were fried to perfection light, crispy, nicely seasoned with a succulent bite. These were served with what I would describe as a Cajun style rémoulade sauce that also added great flavor, although the shrimp did not need it. The shrimp were a 10/10. The hush puppies had corn in them, which I'm not a fan of, but because they were recommended, I decided to give them a try. Despite having the corn in them, they were good with a hint of sweetness in the batter how I like, and the serving was solid as well. I give the hush puppies a 7.5/10. The fish taco was much bigger than I expected. It came with a sizable piece of catfish on a big flour tortilla with a homemade pineapple slaw. The fish was cooked beautifully and broke apart nicely with a nice moist white translucent inside. It was also seasoned nicely and sat well in the tortilla paired with the slaw. I give the fish taco a 9/10. The carrot cake was moist but still had structural integrity. It wasn't too soft. The flavor was nicely done, and I loved the texture from the carrots and pecans. The cream cheese frosting was splendid as well, nicely balanced, sweet but a bit of tang. The one thing I did not like about this cake is that it had raisins, but they were specifically only at the bottom of the cake slice, so they were easy to navigate around. I savored this slice of cake over the course of a few days because it was a treat. I give the carrot cake an 8.5/10. Coming here was a feel-good experience, the staff was friendly, the food was yummy, and it made me excited to come back.

Just right Old Bay seasoned, steamed shrimp for two of us, lightly breaded shrimp for the other, and crabcakes perfectly seasoned and not overly breaded. Coleslaw was just the right combination of sweet and tangy. Better seafood than some fine dining seafood establishments!

Really loved our experiences here! The crab cakes are phenomenal! All of the friend seafood was done really well - tender, flavorful and not greasy or too heavy. Atmosphere is cute, but a little casual for my liking when it comes to going out for a nice seafood meal. definitely a great spot for a quick lunch, especially when they have some of their specials going on.

Had a mid afternoon lunch on 3/8 with out if town family. It was a first time for all of us and very surprised. The food was awesome and done exactly as it should be. Bubba Shrimp is definitely going to be a return visit when I want to have some seafood.The owner and staff are concerned with your experience and for the first time we actually got to have a conversation with them. Well worth the 5 star rating they have.

If you love seafood you need to try this place!! Their food is served fresh and seasoned to perfection. For sure me and my boyfriend’s new favorite go to spot and their homemade bubbas sauce is perfect with fish fries or chicken!

For us, it's all about the flounder! Unfortunately, during our recent visit they had no hush puppies, and the flounder was apparently in short supply too. Still, good stuff!
