Today was my first visit there. I don't usually do Chinese unless I prepare and cook same at home for obvious reasons. Upon walking in the door, the lady behind the counter was assisting another customer who appeared not to have her debit or charge card present as she was on the phone with someone who gave her the number but gave it to her incorrectly (we were the only two customers at that time). I say all of this to say, the lady behind the counter proceeded to take my order which was only a cup of soup. She took my money and gave me my change. She grabbed a pint size soup container and commence to compile my soup. She NEVER stopped to wash her hands before doing so. Yet she handled my money and even handled my soup with NO gloves. She even took the time to take another phone order prior to finishing mine. I had to ask for my receipt as well as a fortune cookie. I removed what was supposed to be chicken from the soup. Prayed over the rest and kept it moving. Needless to say, I won't be returning as veggies in soup were still hard.....???

Me and my husband came for lunch and as soon as we walked into the door the lady at the counter turned to serve us and looked mad to be there. We both greeted her and said hello and she just stared at us like we were stupid. So we didn't give the business the time of day and went elsewhere. Customer service you're suppose to at least greet your customers you can tell she didn't want to be there and was pissed we walked through their door.

Food used to be so much better. Crab Rangoon was hardly filled. Egg rolls flavorless. Shrimp was so over breaded. Chicken teriyaki sticks were dry. What a waste of $80 for 7 items, delivery fees, and tip.

Not sure if they have new owners are not. But I used to come to this restaurant like all the time and the young lady used to be so nice now this new lady that's here she's very rude she's very mean she's not knowledgeable about certain foods that you order especially something that's simple I usually tip every time I come here and I stop coming here but I came here today to get some food and just she was never so I just didn't even say thank you and that's not like me not to be polite but she was very rude I will not be coming to this establishment unless they bring the other lady the first lady cuz she was wonderful but this new lady I don't like her
Horrible experience told the lady that we didn’t get everything we ordered. Then she said wait a minute you weren’t charged the full price which was $35 . No need to be that nasty just give the people what they ordered period . If I couldn’t pay the money I wouldn’t have order from this over priced crappie Chinese food joint in the first place. They have really fell off the food isn’t as good as it used to be. They want get another dime from me.

This has been our family "go to" Chinese restaurant for 29.years. The attention to detail has always been exceptional, along with the portions. The last two times we've placed an order, the fried foods have been burnt and greasy, and the veggies so overcooked that even the bok choy was limp. China city is our happy family tradition, but it needs to get back to b as dixs.

We are from Los Angeles and I have been looking for a replacement spot here in Virginia. We love to get: 1.) Veggie Rolls ( Much better Version of jack in the box.) 2.) Shrimp Lo Main. 3.) Egg Foo Young. 4.) Mongolian beef. 5.) Crispy Chicken with orange flavor. Great customer service.
