Great place to bring friends from our of town. Great reviews from the guys in the steaks. Huge portions. Lots of fish choices, and the restaurant is very flexible. Service was amazing. They brought a glass of wine before the meal and the server remembered that we wanted it with the meal. It was wisked away and brought at the appropriate time. Higher prices that most of the VB seafood scene, but well worth it.
Service was great, and the food was top-notch. I have the shrimp as an appetizer and the whole fried branzino for an entree. It was amazing - fresh, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Update: Shared Mussels and a bottle of selected wine at the bar with Ryan! She is amazing and makes a mean old fashioned!Our favorite place in VB!Four couples. Great elegant dinner and drinks. Everything was perfect and if not, they made it so. Delicious martinis, salad and entrees. Everyone had something different from pork chops to seafood and it was all great! A little pricey, but worth it!

In town for the Shamrock marathon, went to google reviews for an easy going seafood restaurant. Coastal Grill hit the stop. Excellent food, great service, and exactly what we looking for. Definitely recommend Coastal Grill.Parking: Free valet parking.

We had dinner and it was wonderful as usual. My husband made a mistake on the check and carried a number over that he should not have done. That added an extra hundred dollars to the check. Our waitress, Liz actually called because she knew that would not be correct and wanted to know, what was supposed to happen. I know very few that would have done that. But as usual, this restaurant is a restaurant of integrity and high-quality individuals. Thank you Liz for your call.

Best neighborhood restaurant for over 25 years and counting. Easy parking, beautiful cocktail bar with lots of seating and great wine list at every price point. Excellent selections as well. Dining room is gorgeous with large tables. Bar area has high tops as well. The food is excellent!! Numerous salads to choose from and delicious varied appetizers as well. Entries are amazing, best known for their grilled salmon- yummmm! Must try the carrot cake in bourbon sauce for dessert, you will love it!
Food was absolutely delicious. Although a bit on the pricey side but the quality and taste was exceptional. We love the wilted lettuce salad and squash. I had the one of the specials which was flounder cooked in brown butter and orange. The fish was light and flaky and perfectly seasoned. My husband had the fried oysters which he raved about and said they were the best he had in a long time. My MIL had the salmon and she ate every bite. The service was impeccable, used dishes were quickly cleared from our table, water glasses remained topped off. Jonel was our server and she was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

We have always had exquisite meals and impeccable service at Coastal Grill. My wife and go here for special occasions and have always been thoroughly satisfied. Their Menu is excellent, and their signatures are fantastic. They also make great cocktails as a bonus. Highly recommended

I don't go to Coastal Grill on the regular, but when I do go, I have never been disappointed with my experience. I will definitely be going back, I can't say that about many places.
I usually avoid going out to a restaurant on valentines day due to bad past experiences. I took a chance and coastal grill delivered! Fantastic dinner and service! The restaurant was tastefully decorated as well. Can't wait to go back.

Spencer B was a great server. The duck and tenderloin were 5 stars! We enjoyed a bottle of wine and creme brûlée to finish it all off. Perfect dinner. We look forward to coming back. Complements also to the bartender. The chocolate old fashioned was one of my favorites. And Im a real bourbon snob.
