I had a terrible experience here on September 10, 2023 at 12pm. When I arrived to order there was a worker power washing the tables closest to the boardwalk. It was loud and spraying on us customers as we ordered. I thought it was strange to begin power washing during the lunch rush but was only annoyed by it. I ordered my kids (both 4 yrs old) overpriced food and ice cream then we sat at the tables that were not being power washed, closer to the stage. At first we would occasionally get misted across the way from the power washing and I could hardly hear anything my kids were saying from the compressors noise. To my amazement the worker finished the first set of tables and proceeded to begin washing the tables adjacent to where we were eating. I thought I was on a reality show or something and it was a twisted joke. A nearby mother asked him to stop as she passed by with a newborn in her stroller. He did not stop. She threw her arms up and walked away. Shortly after I got his attention motioned to him to stop since we were getting misted often while eating. He was wearing earplugs and I wish I had some considering how loud it was. He nodded seeming to understand but didn’t stop. Gross water was being sprayed all over our food. When he continued on I began packing up to remove my kids from the situation. We had our bikes, helmets, food, ice cream, and it was not easy to relocate mid meal. The worker began moving closer and sprayed the ground merely 4 feet away. I did not get misted, this was an indirect drenching of my feet. I stood up and yelled to have him stop. He took an earplug out and said ‘I’m power washing you saw me coming this way’. I replied ‘it’s noon and you have customers, if you want to power wash get here early and do it before you open, not at noon. You are ruining my food with nasty spray’ He yelled back ‘you are in my way and it’s no different than rain’. He began intentionally spraying at my feet again which got me and my remaining food soaked. Now soaking wet from my knees down, I took the kids ice creams that were mixed with his dirt water and spiked them on the ground in response. He then assaulted me by spraying his power washer directly at me hitting my legs. I wanted to pounce on him but needed to continue leaving and not put my kids in danger of this man with screws loose. I quickly went to the ordering booth and asked if the power washer guy was an employee or vendor. The lady at the counter said ‘he’s *actually* a manager’. Her tone in her response was telling me she works for a total prick and doesn’t know how he’s a manager. Many customers came up to us after this event and said that guy was out of line and lucky I didn’t hit him. I called corporate and got a concerned response call the following Monday. We chatted and they assured me something would be done about the situation. Months have passed and nothing has been done. Not even the refund they offered (without me asking). I would expect this place to have many faults based solely on this experience. No accountability in something this egregious means there is no accountability across the board. Ordered a burger and ice cream. Not only were the prices insane, but the burger was nasty. The meat was clearly boiled or microwaved instead of grilled. It was the weirdest burger I have ever had, so bad I didn’t want to finish it. I am the antithesis of a picky eater, but this was gross… and way too expensive.

I should have read reviews before hand. Apparently they have not had chocolate ice cream for 3 years. $7 for a small chocolate (vanilla with chocolate syrup) and banana shake. Just WOW. Did not know. Now I do and will not get ice cream there again. Other than price and no chocolate, it is very a convenient place with great view.

My family and I were craving sweets so we decided to stop by Dairy Queen for some ice cream. I like their Reese’s peanut butter blizzards so of course that’s what my husband and I got. I always ask for extra topping and they charged us for it, which isn’t the problem. The problem is that we were charged for extra and there was barely any topping when we received our ice cream!Honestly it was disappointing. 2 stars because of the nice location, we got to enjoy the beautiful beach views while we ate our subpar blizzard.

The brownies were expired and tasted like mint. The ice cream tasted worst than McDonald's. The pretzels were stale and overcooked. They didn't have chocolate ice cream ..... or reese?!?! Half of the staff was on another planet! I won't be going there again!!! Worst $50 every spent!

I will be calling corporate tomorrow best believe that! Your manager Emily that was working on Thursday night August 17th, 2023 was very disrespectful to her customers that were already in line before they closed! She wasn't towards me but she had no right to talk to the family that had been there before the closing time to try to decline business! I can understand if they were there 5 mins before but all this started to happen around 1050 and they clearly been standing there before than so they should be served regardless!! And at that there wasnat least 8 people if not more just standing there refusing service lucky someone took our orders because they clearly saw we were irritated! Her name is K Chokbundra (I think is what was on the receipt! )Very unprofessional and your manager was the only one who didn't have a name surprise surprise your manager Emily!!! Maybe you guys need to think about the managers that run this location and how they treat your business especially during the summer! This is your time to make the money especially with the line that was there at the time!

I couldn't hear or understand the gal taking my order. Also the "manager" was just standing around with his arms crossed like he was bored and annoyed he had to be there. Wasn't trying to help the workers in any way. Even when I was trying to ask about something on the menu and my gal wasn't sure what I was asking, he just stood there oblivious to the information I needed. He needs to be moved to a different location or let go. He is nowhere what a True "Manager" is. Managers help their workers when slammed or get questions they can't answer. Kudos to the other workers & "janitor" who were able to answer my questions when the "manager" and my worker couldn't. They were actually attentive to the situation and tried to help the situation instead of standing around playing pocket pool or with their arms crossed staring into nothingness
