Delicious food and service! Degrill is one of two Caribbean restaurants in the area that's worth the visit. The owner, also head chef, took his time to cater to my family and I. We will be back when we visit.

My new favorite place in the Beach to goto I wish there was more genuine great small businesses like this around this place gets more than 5 stars if possible and the staff are amazing friendly people when i was ordering and was unfamiliar with some things he helped me so much and made sure I got my side I forgot to add in, truly genuine people.Vegetarian options: A truly great veggie blend side that is hard to compete with so much variety compared to most places 1-2 veggies max in the blend this place has Yams, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, plantains, green beans and more!
This is my GO-TO place for beef Patties. I literally crave this place on their off days because it's so good! The customer service is great, the place is always clean, and the music is always nice. I wish the city would fix the potholes at the entrance but hey, that's not on them.

Out of all the Jamaican restaurants I've been to around the 757, I never knew about this mom and pop hole in the wall restaurant! And you know they be the BEST ones to go to! This place is as authentic as it gets. The wait is pretty long as the food is cooked to order but so worth it. Jerk chicken, red beans and rice and plantains - the chicken is grilled with a dry rub and not too spicy. The plantains were naturally sweet, so no added sugar and not oily. Salted fish and Callaloo - I haven't really seen this dish at any other restaurants, so for the vegetarians this is something for you. The fish is mixed in with the Callaloo and it's very tasty with the slight saltiness from the fish. Jamaican Patties - they actually have a veggie version and it's homemade!! Not the store bought ones like most restaurants serve. I wanted to be a gatekeeper to this place because with the food being so good and being a one man show, I didn't want y'all to stress him out and he retires ... LOL!

When I walked in everyone was so welcoming! & they showed love! They asked questions and were personable! I loved that about them! I haven't had good Jamaican food in so long! So this was truly a breath of fresh air. I'll definitely be back! And you can sit in and eat! It's spacey in there.
