Great food! The server was fast and attentive! The prices were very reasonable! We had been 2 different locations here in Virginia Beach and Norfolk and both were great!
What’s the point of having a special instructions box in your restaurant app if you’re just gonna ignore it!Earlier tonight, I ordered takeout.I ordered the Speedy Gonzales (burrito, taco, rice or beans). In the special instructions box, I requested CHICKEN enchilada and CHICKRN taco—with CHICKEN in all caps. That was my daughter’s order.For my order, the menu stated that the burrito had chicken and beans in it. And I requested that the guacamole please be in a container.Guess what?My daughter’s order was beef enchilada and beef taco.My burrito lacked the promised beans and my guacamole was ON my burrito—not in the requested container.I used to really like El Azteca.For years, my wife and daughters and my parents used to frequent the place but now it’s like they don’t really care about anything.That’s why we seldom eat there anymore.And after tonight, I won’t be giving them my business anymore: Eat-in or takeout. Period.Sad.They used to be my favorite Mexican Restaurant.

If I wanted food from a can, box, or jar I would've went to Food Lion and cooked at home myself. Nastiest Mexican restaurant food I've ever had by far! Sheesh! Great goodly moogly! Y'all didn't even try to hide it. Food completely sucked! But the waiter was nice.

food was not eatable, Did not eat any of my dinner. I was with friend and didn't want complain. Worst food I have had at a Mexican restaurant. Ordered vodka martini w a twist. What I given was martini at cloudy room temperature drink? with a wedge of lemon. I then ordered a classic Margaretta that was also served at room temperature and contained way to much mixer. needless tovbsay they don't have bar tenders who know how to make drinks.I will do not recommend this restaurant and will NEVER return.

One jalapeño costs $.56 at Wegmans. I requested a side of jalapeño to go with the chicken soup, I ordered (that I found a bit flavorless) and was brought out a small sliced jalapeño. I was charged $3.99 for basically one sliced jalapeño.Their ridiculous pricing will prevent me from going back anytime soon, on principle!
We came here for dinner and got the chicken fajitas and the fajita quesadilla. It wasn’t too flavorful, but the rice was good. Our waitress was attentive, but seemed very tired or upset. The portions were a little smaller than I have seen before, and overall the food isn’t really notable at all. The place itself is okay, but not very suitable for large parties.
