Paid 10.99 for cheese dip in the restaurant and it always came with complimentary tortilla chips. Ordered the same 10.99 cheese dip to go and was told that I have to pay $6.00 extra for tortilla chips. How predatory. $18 for a side of cheese dip is far too much, even in this

I'm giving this the highest rating because it is one of the better Mex food places between Norfolk and Va. Beach. I've never paid much attention to the atmosphere and have only eaten lunch, but many times, so service has always been good. But food wise I have been pleased with the standard fare. I've lived in Texas and California and if the very same restaurant were there perhaps I would just not comment at all. I once ordered a tamale for lunch off the dinner menu. What they brought me was not a tamale but it was good. Since then I have ordered it several times. A tamale is a big hunk of corn meal, spiced pork wrapped in a corn husk. (I know at xmas the Mexican folk would get fancy and put black olives and other goodies in the mix.) We would buy a dozen every week during the xmas season. But whatever it is they sell as a tamale I hope someone from the restaurant reads this and solves the "mystery food" for me. This has been some years ago and perhaps tamale is not on the menu any longer. RobParking: Plenty

it’s a nice little date spot with affordable options & decent drinks. I will agree with the other comments saying the servers don’t really spend any time taking to you. I wouldn’t say they’re rude though. Food was hot, fresh, and came out rather quickly. I didn’t love my food but my husband loved his. The fajitas Is definitely what I’m getting next time.

This place has gone downhill since Roy left. Been coming here for years and love seeing the people who are still there but had issues with being seriously over charged on a To go order a few months ago to the point where after the 3rd time going back to get the food straight, I complained and was given $20 back. Keep track of and pay attention to the prices of what you order.

I was excited after reading the menu that this was authentic Mexican food. I was immediately disappointed. The carnita taco came out with just meat on flour tortillas...yep just plain and when asked for some onions a clentontro, was told that how it came so we threw some salsa on it. As mentioned before, the interior and service Coulee be significantly improved.
