Been here many times, can’t recall why I haven’t written a review. I like the piled high large portions they give you. I always get their pancit (bihon, thin glass noodles), it’s always on point very flavorful and not dry. Today they also have pancit palabok. And 2 entrees, this time I got (pork) sisig and pinakbet. Guess what they give you bagoong (shrimp paste) to go with the pinakbet. Everything was really good. The only thing I’d say though is their turon isn’t as thin and crispy, they’re burnt in parts and tough. They have delicious cassava cake with coconut, highly recommended. They have frequent stamp card so loyalty pays with 1 free entree with 10!

An icon in the area, Felynn's has been serving Filipino favorites for years in Virginia Beach.Little mix up on my order; I ordered the two mains, plus rice combo. Asked for pork adobo, pancit, rice, and as an extra, three lumpia.I received everything but the pancit. I guess I confused the woman. Got it straightened out by paying the $2.25 for the lumpia and getting a side of pancit. The only ding here is that the woman packed the lumpia with half of them sitting in the adobo sauce, hence no crunch. On the food: I wish it was braised just a bit more to render the pork more tender. Same ding as Susan's Kitchenette. They didn't braise the caldereta long enough, and the beef was tough. I know Filipinos (with the exception of maybe my father) don't tend to velvet meat like the Chinese do. Flavors were good otherwise.Go there. Dinuguan on Fridays, apparently.Get your Pinoy freak on.

The food was great, customer service was great, and the staff was friendly, patient, and very helpful.Update 02/15/2024: I frequented Felynn's for a great friendly service and outstanding Filipino food whenever I'm in town. I'm a travel nurse from South Florida and have been in contract at WV since September 2023. I visit my kids in VB while I'm here. For the last 3 visits in Felynn's, the service I received was subpar. The people who served my order weren't as friendly and welcoming. The food was placed in the containers very sloppy. Sauce were dripping outside the containers. Noodles were hanging out of a closed container. When I was checking out, I asked to secure the large containers with Sauce tightly with saran wrap, but my request was denied. Aluminum foil was used to "secure" the lid "tightly" instead. Which does not secure it on a long drive, and it still can spill. It never fails. It did spill all over the bag. I miss Filipino foods, and Felynn is the place I can take that childhood back. If it wasn't for their food, I would not return due to the change of customer service.... Or maybe I won't come back to Felynn's.

Best nipoy food in the VB area. You can't go wrong with any of their pork dishes, especially adobong baboy, lechon paksiw or lechon kawaling. They're alittle pricey but its quality food.
