Food was exceedingly mediocre, bordering on not great. Service was nearly non-existent due to staffing issues. The only saving grace was that it’s on the water…a number of other places are too. Never going back.

I really wanted this to be our Sunday lunch spot. No, not FishTails VB.The service is 2 stars only bc of the young lady (the 2 older/veteran waitstaff left the entire restaurant on her shoulders) who was so embarrassed.The food was edible ? my Chicken Caprese sandwich wasn't toasted. Thus, the olive oil, which was used, made the sandwich soggy. The tomatoes were disgusting and the mozzarella was old. I won't mention the sweet potato fries.The atmosphere - there were tables surrounding us with dirty tables and trash on the floor.I realize they were obviously short staff. However, after explaining the issue with my sandwich and Craig's fish and chips...they didn't even offer to recook it or allow me to choose something else. I will always wait for good foodIt was a beautiful day ?Parking: In addition to the parking garage there is metered street parking.

Love this place. As a local, I’m here once a week for the tandoori wings and the cheap beer. I met the owner while in there the other day and he was just an all around nice guy. He even made sure we knew about the locals discount. All of the bar tenders have been kind, clean, and quick. That’s what we all want, and they don’t disappoint.

Decided to give fish tales another chance after a disappointing visit (summer 2023) this past weekend while I had family in town. And IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Service 100/10. Salmon Beni was literally the best thing I’ve ever eaten! My mother and I told rachel to surprise us with whatever brunch drinks she wanted. Those also did not disappoint.. clearly the place is under new management.. it’s almost like a whole new restaurant since our last visit.

Our food was good. Our service was fine, maybe a little slow but the server and bartender were very personable and interactive with us. Nothing was very "wow" though. Nothing stuck out as amazing or must have. When we were told items were premade, it made the experience a little different for us as for the price, we anticipated everything to be made in house. Not a good choice for gluten-free. Overall, not bad, but just didn't have anything to really set it apart.
