I was searching for a bakery to get cupcakes for my sister's birthday which lives in Virginia Beach I happen to come across Gigi's bakery in Virginia Beach which was close by after reading the wonderful reviews I decided to call them which I'm glad and happy I did Julie answered the phone, was very kind and helping me decide what to order and recommended the birthday celebration cupcake box, I also ask her if they could get delivered the same day which she was very kind and accommodating to get them delivered to my sister for her birthday my sister and her family and grandchildren absolutely loved the cupcakes said they were absolutely delicious!!! Thank you Gigi's cupcakes and Julie's wonderful customer service I will definitely recommend to my friends and when I need to place another order I will definitely call them!!!

All I can say is WOW ? to specialize in just cupcakes I was skeptical they’d be like any other but they were outta this world good ?? the frosting is buttermilk tasting and not too sugary. They are nothing short of perfect. Seriously. So many flavors and varieties you can’t not find one you like. How have I lived here this long and not tried a Gigi’s cupcake ? FANTASTIC

While in VA Beach for convention, I found Gigi's Cupcakes and decided to stop in. This llace smells amazing! Julie is very friendly with excellent customer service!! My sister and I both made a purchase. These cupcakes are unbelievably good! Cookies N Cream and Wedding cake cupcakes are now my favorites Will definitely be returning in the future!

I am visiting the VA Beach area and wanted a quick treat. I saw Gigi’s at the Hunt Club Farm event and decided to give the cupcakes a try. Fantastic decision. Chocolate cheesecake cupcake was delicious. Split decision cupcake was moist and fluffy. Icing was smooth but not too sweet. Would place an online delivery order if they delivered to NYC! Highly recommend if you are a cupcaker.

Highly disappointed with these cupcakes. Our cupcakes were dry, crumbly, and seemed as if they might have been leftover from the previous day or two. We bought a dozen with a variety of flavors so I can confirm this issue was not just one type. For $3.95 per cupcake, I would expect some top notch quality and today's experience was not even close.

I go here from time to time some cupcakes are excellent and flavorful but some lack, I always return traveling about 17 mins 1way. One thing I must mention is the that rush you along vibe because I have other orders to fill is so off-putting. You have a great product it would be nice to show some courtesy to those of asking about the flavors.. a smile and answering questions at top word speed to rush along customers isn't good. Not everyone but I have experienced that uneasy feeling of just pick your selection and leave. Hire more people, Sorry if I bothered you 1/23/22 early afternoon, I just wanted some cupcakes.

Me and Gigi roll hard on them cheat days! I'm not much for the cheesecake selection, it is a bit dull. But, the cupcake selection is everything!!! The frosting is super sweet, as it should be! This is a decadent dessert, not a muffin (aka sad cupcake), so I want that sugar rush!There are minis available too, if you want to try a couple types or if you need to grab a dozen, for a work function. There are even 'pupcakes' for the furry fam! They also fulfill catering orders and have some cool concepts and designs!

Gigi’s was AWESOME to work with! We used them for our gender reveal, which went from in person to virtual due to the pandemic. They were extremely flexible and easy to work with. We ordered odd numbers of cakes, and requested each group be boxed specifically - one box with 5, one box with 3 etc. What we ended up doing was dropping off cupcakes to our family and friends homes, and then FaceTiming with them to gender reveal. Gigi‘s really helped us out by making it much less work. They even let us have multiple flavors and random amounts of gluten-free cupcakes. I had thought about making the cupcakes myself, and had ordered toppers from Etsy for this. They were happy to use the toppers I had ordered and take it off the price. I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them in the future! Customer Service, Beautiful decoration, delicious taste, and attention to detail make them top-notch. Even with all the extra requests I put it, the price was cheaper than other bakeries in the area. They emailed me back quickly with each question I had and double checked each request to ensure I got what I wanted. I’m grateful to them for making that day so special- especially since the in person gender reveal I hoped for was a COVID casualty!

Niccole was so helpful and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome of the cupcakes. Love love love the communication, the helpfulness, the quality, and the total experience. Awesome!

Ratings are a little inflated. The cupcakes are ok and expensive for what you get. I ordered one of the cheesecakes (mistake) and 3 cupcakes, all 3 were a little on the dry side. All 3 of them also had a mound of icing that looks delicious but the consistency is way to thick in my opinion. I expected a lighter, fluffier icing since it is the same size as the cake. That being said, if this is what you're looking for in a cupcake you will love them. When I say a little dry I mean that, just slightly off. If the consistency of the icing changed I would give the cupcakes 5 stars, but I dropped it down since I found it overwhelming. 3 stars because they have an assortment of cheesecake which I love and was excited to try it. I highly recommend you stick to the cupcakes. The cheesecake I tried didn't compare to the cheapest cheesecake you'd find at any other pie/bakery place. The workers were awesome and the look of the food is fabulous, I love that they put their products in a box that allows for easy transportation. They also make custom cakes here which may be a good option for a fancy large cake.

Fancy sweet treats. You can make any occasion special. Instead of birthday cake we got a lot of supper cool cupcakes for my 12 year old nieces birthday. Everyone,including the adults, were very impressed with the look and wild over the individual flavors we picked for each person. We have been so happy with that experience that we tried the lemon poppy loaf (perfection by the way) and we got 4th of July cupcakes for work. Just seeing the Gi Gi's bag made people smile. Great packaging.

I just wanted to send a special shout out to the decorator who designed my daughters birthday cake for her "Young, Wild, and Three" themed party. It was ABSOLUTELY beautiful.
