I ordered Jjam Ppong. This restaurant is so delicious that even Koreans recommend it, and it's generous in portion size. Highly recommended!

We tried the Hansang Gimbap for our appetizer and it was out of this world. For entrees we chose the Seafood Ramyun and the Jja Jang Myun. The seafood ramen was amazing but the jja jang myun noodles were not my favorite. I would try something different next time.

Was in the area and was craving Korean food. Stumbled upon this small spot. Its extremely nice inside, the staff is friendly, and the food definitely surprised me. I ordered the bulgogi to go. The portion was very heafty for the price, I even have leftovers. I can always tell if a Korean spot is good based on their Kimchi & the bulgogi was equally as delicious as the banchan. Will definitely be going back to try their Yukgaejang

Delicious Korean dishes. It’s not your typical KBBQ but the food was so tasty. Best was the beef gimbap, veggie pancake, and Galbi combo. My least favorite was the japchae (glass noodles) because it was on the sweeter end but that’s just a personal preference and they only had 3 mini side dishes with the Galbi combo.

The atmosphere and the interior designing of the store was pleasant. The bathrooms are clean. However, the food is overpriced and the portions are small. The food is medicore and its not that great as people say it is. Hubby got galbi which was $30 and the portion size was small. I got galbi tang and the soup is supposed to look milky clear but instead it looked like dirty dish soap water. I also found a strand of 1 short wavy black hair. They skimp out on the side dishes, only give you 3 max. You only get 1 bowl of rice which is enough for a little kid and then after they will charge you $3. The service was alright. Whomever the owner is they need to stop being cheap with the customers. Overall the bill turned out to be $50. I'll just stick to making korean food at home. Dont recommend.

Better experience after a long hiatus from going back. Last time I remember the place was slightly run down, and my fave mackerel fish wasn't my favorite anymore.Tonight my friend and I were nearby after having had a great therapeutic massage (oh yes check out my review), I suggested to come here. The place has been updated, better flooring, updated decor and more customers on a drizzling Tuesday night.I was hungry and cold so decided to order Crunch California Gimbap ( crunch roll with cucumber, avocado, etc etc.) it was phenomenal, a 10. I ordered the ribs with clear broth and glass noodles. It came with shared veggies and a bowlof rice. It was a 5 of 5, could have been more if it was slightly seasoned (maybe a dash of black pepper and soy sauce that I could have added myself!)Service was wonderful. While I was waiting for my friend, I was asked if I needed anything; and then the occasional checking in. Service is friendly and polite. My friend stayed a few minutes beyond closing time but we weren't hastened out. We got the Asian yogurt to cleanse our palate as we were given our check. What an experience! Still my top Korean restaurant in Hampton Roads!

The food and service are great, everything was fresh and very flavorful! Just a little warning if you are super sensitive to heat most dishes we ordered had a little kick to them. I loved it, it was alllmost a little too much for my husband. Overall great food ?
