A local brewery in Va Beach! Vivian was our bartender/informationalist and was outstanding! She was very informative on beer selection and knowledgeable on each product. We had two flights and one kolsh and each was excellent. I loved the presentation on the flight, have never had them deliver in such a nice piece of art. The restaurant/brewery was super clean and will be a go-to establishment when I am back in Virginia Beach!

Good service. Yummy Fried cheese curds. Great beer selection. Than we got our overcooked dried out hamburgers. Fries were also overcooked.

This place is awesome. I had a Groupon on this visit. I had the Calamari appetizer. It's a huge serving portion and every bite was crispy. I had the Extra Smokey burger. Burger was cooked medium and the Gouda cream was excellent. Avacado and bacon was great tasting as well. I had fries for my side. You can have healthy broccoli, sweet potato fries or seasonal fruit. Vibe and food were excellent. Waitress/hostess was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend this place. Groupon or not. I will come again. Social distancing and face mask required.

Not a great experience....fish tacos and calamari were VERY fishy. Beer had a sharp aftertaste. It has definitely declined from a year ago.

This review is based on a Uber Eats delivery experience. I has just returned from a spell at sea and wanted something delivered. Decided to get the Extra Smokey Burger and fries and a Turkey Panini with a Fried Goat Cheese salad with craisins and pecans. That BURGER was SOOOOO GOOOOD. If that burger was any better....It would have come from heaven. It was a perfect combination of complimentary flavors. I will reorder from here just for this burger. To be honest, I'm not even sure what was on it.....but whatever it was I couldn't stop destroying it. The portions are huge! I got a lot of fries! Also, although I don't understand why they call it a "fried goat cheese" salad....cause I didn't receive anything fried, but the salad was GENEROUSLY loaded with pecans and cheese. My wife said the Panini was "ok". Her disappointment was with the bread. It was just on a hamburger bun, and she said the lettuce for the sandwich was spinach...which wasn't a match for the style of sandwich. She still said it was delicious. I would love to have posted pictures of this meal but I ate it too fast. I highly recommend the Extra Smokey burger!!!! I will be back!

Sorry if it's just COVID but this was a bad experience. The pico de Gallo tasted like it was pace picante salsa. The cheese dip was one congealed glob that was undippable. The waiter said it was supposed to be like that and didn't take it back for us. We took that as a bad sign and cancelled our entrees and went somewhere else for dinner. I hope this place improves but I won't go back.

Haven't been in here since the pandemic started. We have had great experience in the past and thought we would try again today. First off the woman that greeted us was rude. There is an electronic board listing beer and a chalkboard listing beer of which they have none. We were directed to a paper on our table and told Don't pay attention to the boards we don't have those. They had a few beers mostly seltzer's and IPAs and a some guest taps. We ended up leaving, sadly doubt we will be back.

Service good. Scaled down food menu. Beer selection used to be better. I get it....Covid.Burger...pretty good. Chicken wings not quite what I expected but the sauce was good.
We got the food delivered. I assume that was our mistake. The food was hot and super lackluster. The wings were nasty, the burger tasted like mush (bacon jam and Parmesan aoili had me so excited too) The fries were the only thing good about our meal.

Wanted something off the beaten path and stumbled upon this place. It is veteran owned and we like the brewery atmosphere so decided to give it a shot. We walked in since there was no one outside waiting to seat us. The hostess was a bit rude (was talking to another employee and acted like we interrupted her)but we let it slide. We told her we wanted to eat outside so she told us to just grab a table and someone would bring us some menus shortly. A good 5 minutes went by when she showed up and asked if anyone had brought us menus. Of course we said no so she ran back and grabbed us a laminated flier that had to be scanned with your phone to see their menu. Meanwhile a big group showed up at a table nearby us and they got regular menus to include a draft menu which we did not get. Finally our waiter showed up and asked what we wanted to drink. Since we had no drink menus I just ordered a Diet Coke and my husband asked to see the beer menu. After several minutes our waiter came back and informed us that the coke machine was out and brought us water. Fine. Husband ordered a beer called Cup of Joe and we ordered applewood bacon cheese fries. Both the beer and appetizer were great! But then we ordered our main courses. My husband got the Republic burger ordered medium rare. I don't know why they even asked how he wanted it cooked because it was very well done! And I ordered the chicken street tacos The chicken had virtually no flavor. The only flavor was due to the chipotle sauce on the top. Very disappointing. And our waiter was pretty inattentive. We had to ask for everything and he never came by and checked on us even though he had to walk by our table a number of times to take care of the big group next to us. We asked for the check and when he finally came back to the table to get our card he swiped it right there at the table, which is fine, but then he turned the tablet so we could add the tip and the options given were 18% or higher. Look, we aren't cheapskates and believe in tipping. But it shouldn't be a given. I believe in tipping for good service not mediocre or crappy service and he definitely didn't deserve 18% that we had to pay.

All I can say about this place is the waiters was rude toward the end of my service. It's not my fault your credit card machine is down . I didn't bother to order any food .

Took the fam here for a late dinner. Had flight and republic burger. Also had cheese curd and chips app. Chelsea was our server and she's was superb. Frau had street tacos which were legit. Daughter had grilled cheese and son had a burger. Solid place with super beers. Wish them the best.

I have had their beer before but never been to the brewery. The staff was friendly; I had the hefeweizen with mango and guava. Surprisingly, it was not sweet, just hint of the flavors. My wife had the stout nothing special, but the proceeds are donated to charity, so that's a +.
