Me and my wife have been regulars for years. but in the past three months the food has been horrible. I wish I could say something nice about it, but Olive Garden is just as good and half the price. And the last time I have been to olive Garden it was just as horrible tasting as last night's food. I hope they figure out how to go back to the rich flavors we had gotten so used too. And I never complain about the price. When you are charging 30 dollars plus for a meal it better be good. It should taste like I am eating something. Food tasted like it was thawed out of a box.

We had quite an entertaining dining experience here. When we arrived there was live music being performed by a passionate pianist/violinist with unique musical selections. Though we made prior reservations, and with the restaurant fairly open, we were still sat by the bathrooms, away from the live music and most other patrons. We were served by a very kind and talkative server, who was knowledgeable but a little intense. The food was flavorful and rich and the wine paired nicely. We had plenty of food leftover to take home as well. At times we did feel a bit out of place by the looks of the more experienced groups. This of course is no fault of the establishment but something to consider for diverse patrons. Overall a good date spot.

Our server was awesome like a friendly older Italian uncle.. he had great recommendations. He also went out of his way to get our hangry 18 month old bread and sliced strawberries to snack on. The food was great my husband had steak and I chicken francese. It was a Sunday and they had buy one get one free entrees.. happy surprise. I liked that the desserts were displayed out... It is a good sales pitch. All I saw when we walked in was a drool worthy chocolate thing. It turns out it was chocolate Napoleon, amazing must try, we got it to go and it may have been best dessert I ever had.Kid-friendliness: Went out of way to make bring hungry baby food asap

Always a great place to go. Fresh and flavorful food, served hot and by professional wait staff. Great back story on the restaurant too... be sure to read the bio.

This is my husbands favorite place to go for dinner . The food and service is usually excellent. It was a little slower this time and the food was just slightly warm as compared to it's usual hot temperature. It was a very busy night and we may have had a new waitress . She was very nice but the experience was not our usual one.Parking: We came early on a Sunday so there was free parking in front of the restaurant.

We've been going here on and off for a few years now. On the last visit a few weeks ago it was quite disappointing. Both cocktails that my wife and I ordered were not right and did not taste good. She sent her his back and it was better on the remake.I had to ask for a new silveware because both my knife and fork had dried food on it. That set the tone for the meal quite poorly. The Calamari was very good as an appetizer. The fettuccine alfredo though was just drowned in a rather bland sauce.

I ordered the costellete di maiale with the tropical salad appetizer. The entree includes a choice of house salad or Caesar salad. Since I had ordered a salad appetizer, I asked for soup or another vegetable as a side dish for my entree. I was told "no". If I wanted a replacement for the salad that came with the entree, I would have to pay full price as an extra item. I wouldn't have minded an upcharge a vegetable or soup would cost more than the original salad and I could pay the difference, but I was not given a choice. That's pretty weenie for an upscale restaurant. Now for the entree: the two pork chops were very thick, yet seriously dry and tough. They we're difficult to cut even with a steak knife. Though the cost of my meal was not excessive, at their price point, I would expect pork chops to be moist and tender. The main entree was most disappointing.Note: the interior is painted brick, wood, and metal beams. This makes the restaurant quite noisy as sound reverberates and conversation becomes difficult. If it's busy, it's not a good spot for romantic conversation.

This was always my favorite place when I go to Virginia Beach. Last trip had baked clams, they were old, pasta fagioli it was thin watery with no vegetables. 2 basic Italian restaurant dishes that missed the mark. It seems that the chef has changed!
