Tried this place for the first time on Sunday and I can’t rave enough about this food & place! I’ve been telling everyone about it and showing them the pictures of what I ordered, which really do not do this food justice. You gotta check it out for yourself and I can’t wait to go back and try the oxtails & mac n’ cheese. The owner will tell you that he’s better than other local Caribbean food restaurants and he is not wrong, food is pure fire. I gotta get their food truck schedule and get them to come to the OBX- they would sell out ridiculously quick and people would be making trips to VA Beach to their store.

A fantastic array of food offerings that are true to the Caribbean. We really enjoyed the food. We are grateful that we discovered this little spot on our visit to VA Beach. The wait is very long though- be sure to order beforehand! It's not a place to dine in, just grab and go. Good eats.

Excellent service and even better food!! Some of the best Caribbean food I've had, everything on the menu is delicious and always FRESH. A real taste of authenticity!
Food was subpar. If you've had authentic Jamaican you will know this ain't it. Oxtail were sweet and the jerk sauce tasted like BBQ sauce. No heat whatsoever. I won't be a repeat customer

Food and service was excellent! It could use a makeover inside tho. I know they were trying to go with the holiday theme and it is small inside, but 2 or 3 small tables or a bar/counter to sit and eat at would be great.
Stumbled on this gem by happenstance....my fiance and I were going to get breakfast at Denny's nearby and thought we should try this place for lunch....I've had a few Caribbean restaurants in Virginia.....some better than others....BUT Jerrrk Time is hands down the BEST!!!....the jerk chicken was INCREDIBLE!!!...a little heat but not overwhelming.....rice and cabbage on point like a sniper!!!...lol....I asked if they had beef patties and when they said Yes, I further inquired and asked if they had coco bread and when they said yes, I knew I was in the RIGHT spot!!!...I definitely encourage anyone who loves food let alone Caribbean food to give this restaurant a try....service was great and I'm DEFINITELY coming back!!!
