We just got a few beers and a cheese pizza. It was delicious ? We played a few rounds of pool too. Had a great time and met some new friends ? Staff was very friendly and hardworking! Spent more time here than we planned since we liked the chill vibe so much. Would definitely go back. Parking was easy. Only thing is the inside is a bit dated/old school but not a deal breaker. Plan before you go and you'll be fine!

I have tried just about every pizza place in Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Hands down, La Pizzeria is the best. They make a wonderful thin crust pizza.

Best Mama and Pops Pizza shop that I experienced in almost 10 years

2 slices of pepperoni and onion and 1 bottled water. $14.79. Ouch!! They only take cash. Not sure why. This is 2023. I feel that they’re losing out on a lot of customers because of this. Today just happened to be one of the very seldom times I actually had cash on me. The pizza was good. Not great, but good. Then again, this isn’t NY or NJ, so it’s one of the better pizzas in this area.

Called for delivery and they asked if I would be paying cash or credit. That's fine; I know how to write a check, but I asked if I came and picked up would they be able to accept a credit card. The guy on the phone responded; "No that's why I said cash or check". What kind of smart alec answer is that? I'll make sure I tell people to not to think of this place when ordering pizza.

Best NYC style pizza in Virginia Beach. Always fresh veggie and meat toppings with AWESOME Crust and lightly tangy sauce! Definitely has the patented NYC fold to eat

The yelp menu says $25 for stuffed pizza, but the owner charged me $35 and kept the coin change for himself. Then he made a fat joke about me eating the whole thing by myself. I’ve been living here my whole life and rarely go in there because:1) the pizza is the worst on Shore Drive2) the interior looks like he decorated with stuff he found on the side of the road3) There’s one tiny TV4) The owner is so cheap he won’t pay for credit card processing, he wants you to pay $4 to use his ATM instead.You will never see anyone hanging out there. I don’t know how they’ve stayed in business, but their hours keep getting shorter. It’s dead every time I go by or in.
We got pizza to go here and it was great. The garlic knots with cheese were also fantastic if you’re going to get pizza on this side of VA Beach, get it here. You’ll be happy that you did.

Ordered a pizza on june 30th 2022 at 633 pm. I ordered on phone and was told 20 minutes. Thats ok by me but when i recieve it some of the crust was burnt and the man there said we ordered well done. I DID NOT ORDER WELL DONE. A friend picked up the pizza so she didn't know. I dont know were the order taker got that info or who screwed up but in order to keep there reviews at 4.7 then they should step it up. Welll done on a already thin crust.

The Sicilian pizza is epic!A simple mom and pop pizza place that has been there forever... once you have the pizza, you'll see why! Great place to snag a quick bite for decent prices.. (it is shore drive afterall)

This place is awesome great pizza, great owner, great staff. Went in here yesterday with the family. Pizza was worth every dollar, they also got draft beer so get yourself a pitcher, soft drinks also. Make sure to bring cash. Cash only and don't be cheap leave some cash in the tip jar. Sweet people definitely my new pizza spot.
