Having ordered delivery and for in store pick up this store is consistently late in my experience. The food quality is decent if you pick it up but you may have to wait a while even when the order says complete. Our most recent delivery order was 40 minutes past the time estimate and they forgot to bring the drink. My biggest suggestion to them is to limit the orders so they can focus on providing a good service experience and hire more staff as they always appear swamped with orders even during slow hours.

Guys I I have been a faithful customer of Marcos pizza. So l was excited when they open a store on Princess Anne Road. Unfortunately I didn't get the service I normally get today. I ordered delivery at 5:25pm and called the store at 6:40p to inquire on my status, George answered and said your order has been gone for awhile and DoorDash tried to call you to see what kind of drink you wanted because we don't have Pepsi. George went on the ask what drink did I want because the store delivery driver left 8 mins ago and he would see if he could catch him to bring my drink (very odd). 5mins later I get an notification that my order was delivered. I called back and Seth answered and said George wanted give me a heads up with the email that was order was on the way (huh). 20 mins later I received a cold pizza (pic attached) | called again and asked for George and he said I assure you it's not cold (huh) but l've gotten others calls from customer about door dash. *****Note: Door Dash has NEVER delivered my previous orders from Marcos. George could care less about customers and pray to the good Lord above he's not the owner. Just unbelievable

So we gave this specific location one last chance and will never return again. The first time we went our order was given to someone else by mistake so we waited for it to be remade. About 3 months ago, I placed an online order (in advance, several hours earlier). When I arrived to pick it up, the lady employee could not locate it, then she walked out the door and left. Another employee walked up and asked how he could help & I said, well the employee that just left was trying to locate my order. I asked if my order had been sitting for the 3 hours as I had received an email shortly after that I placed it that it was ready. So he proceeded to locate my order. I think they were still making it. Then today, I ordered the food on the Marco app around 1pm to pick up at 5:35pm. During this time I again received emails they started my order right away & it was ready at 1:30pm. Again, hoping that was not the case. Husband goes to pick it up at 5:35pm & it can’t be located. They can’t find a record on my name or the order. I even texted the email confirmations for my husband to show the guy. Evidently order was never made, who really knows. So they had to remake the entire order (2 pizza bowls, 2 pizzas & cheese bread). Who has time to wait - that’s why I ordered online in advance. Order should have been ready 20 mins ago. The food is good, but the service is terrible. We gave them 3 chances. We will not go to this location again.

DO NOT order delivery from here, or maybe at all!!! We ordered last night because my kids wanted to try Marco's but we won't make that mistake again. My order was placed at 5:40, and pizza tracker said it was baking soon after. At 7:40 I called the restaurant to inquire since it had been 2 hours. I was told that they only had 1 driver, he was out and that my order would be delivered next. Our pizza showed up after more than an hour obviously cold and disgusting at 8:45. Over 3 hours for pizza?!? Customer service was non existent and management should learn how to schedule or atleast stop taking orders if you can't deliver them. Either way I'll be sure to spread the word so nobody else waits 3 hours for subpar pizza
I've given this place an opportunity multiple times in the year. But they deal with the same issues over and over again. Terrible staff, slow response, and lack of customer service experience. Orders have consistently taken 2 hours and have just led to me canceling the order. If you are the owner of this franchise, I would highly suggest closing it.

So having moved back home to Norfolk after living in New York for the past 13 years, I can be a bit of a pizza snob lol. I had been seeing the commercials for Marcos Pizza and absolutely wanted to try it. When I entered and told the gentleman it was my first time there, he was patient with me and also told me the specials. He was very welcoming, helpful and just an upbeat positive person. I ordered a Deluxe Pizza for my Mom and a pepperoni for me. I usually stick to the pepperoni which was pretty tasty, but that Deluxe was calling my name. As soon as I bit into it, I realized that the meat, cheese, sauce veggie combination was perfect and I loved it. So delicious, I grabbed another slice. For Dessert, I ordered the brownie and we devoured it. I will be returning very soon. Thank you Marco's!!
