Food was good. Came once before and service was fast. However they were less than the restaurant. This time took a while and got one about orders wrong twice. They just started serving Coke Zero but what I tasted was Diet coke. They try hard and correct their mistakes humbly.

It's renovated but the vibe is still. Slow workers, average food. Took 35 minutes to receive a lemon drop shot and another 20 after that for the margarita flight. There was literally no one else here when I ordered it. The food was brought to the table in waves instead of all at once so my friends were almost done eating by the time I got my food. More likely to be angry than drunk. Should have just went to Plaza Azteca

Really poor food, the salsa was like red water. Zero spice. Everything was just bland. There are so many other average Mexican places around, this one was just bottom of the barrel.

Made to order corn tortillas! The Carne Asada had just the right amount of salt and tenderness with wilted green onion on top. Good service and atmosphere.

This place is a diamond in the rough. We were driving by looking for someplace to eat local to our hotel. The service is spectacular, the food was awesome and it was very inexpensive. They have lunch and dinner specials, too. The seating was laid back, but not fast food tables. The chicken fajitas were so good that I ate them without the tortilla. They give you tortilla chips, salsa and some dip at the beginning that tasted fantastic. I need to find out what the dip was. The chips came out warm. The food was served fresh, hot and quick. You won't be disappointed. Authentic!

Yesterday I had the unpleasant experience dining at this restaurant. Restaurant wasn't busy when I came in ... placed my order which was very clear and specific (A meal and a La carte items) and to my surprise I get something completely different than what I had ordered and the server had the audacity to argue with me on what I ordered. After a bit of going back and forth, they decide to take back what was wrong and bring me the correct order. I started eating the portion of my food that wasn't incorrect and I see the server taking orders and bringing food out to customers who came and ordered after me and by the point the restaurant was getting busier. The server finally comes and asks if I'm doing ok since I don't seem very happy still and I explained to her that I'm still waiting on the rest of food that was taken back and there was still of an argument that I received everything when it was only part of my order. Again after some back and forth I finally get my food. Part was cold since it was just sitting around and the other part was warm. Needles to say it was a a horrible experience and my time. And the icing on the cake is my bill came back at full price and there was compensation or apology for their behavior. I definitely will not be coming back.

The food was good! Cheese dip was great my daughter ate it up. The street tacos were all tender and delicious. My daughter loved her beef taco and beans and rice. We will be back. Fried Ice Cream!!!

Real Mexicans cooking really good Mexican food with a very Mexican atmosphere. The Margaritas are very tasty and they have lots of flavors to choose from. Good Brunch Spot! Never too crowded! And they have Margaritas To-Go!!
Had the street tacos-Carne asada, carnitas and lengua. ALL of them were tender and juicy!!! Definitely going to be my go to. Had the cheese dip, cheese fries and fried ice cream. Loved them all!!! Will be back.

This restaurant is a Hidden Jem! It is reasonably priced, the margaritas are excellent, they are not too strong and not to sweet. We tried the Taco salad and Carne Asada tacos! It starts out with freshly made Nachos and salsa that makes a perfect starter and The food was perfectly cooked and the taco salad had a flakey/ crispy bowl that is out of the world!Definitely planning another visit!

If you have not tried this place, is a must! The food is carter with so much love and passion. The home made white sauce they offer for the chips is the best! I have tried many mexican restaurants and this is the best one in Virginia beach.

The food was ?. Carnitas was very tender, marinated with awesome spices and juicy. Loved the cream spicy dip with the warm fresh chips. I had 2 servings. The service was great. Not too busy when we went. I would go back again. This Army veteran was nice and full. ??
