Mermaids in Virginia Beach is a lot of fun!! Went in there the other night with some friends and the girls were so friendly, they made us feel right at home. They were amazing to watch! I was told they are getting ready for the Pole and Floor show competition on Saturday, May 18th. I think that's worth going to just from what I saw.
The specials were fantastic and the menu was great for either a late night snack or a quick lunch.
The music was good, kept everyone upbeat and the security was visible, but not over imposing, and that made everyone comfortable. Can't wait to go back and drag a few more friends out! Of course I would feel comfortable walking in there alone for a drink and a snack :)

I've never had a club exceed my expectations like this one did :) I don't care how fancy a place is... it's the people that make it great and that's exactly what I experienced here - the manager and the girls and the DJ and the security *all* made my first visit unforgettable and I'll definitely be back for more!

Not impressed. Not one dancer even said hello. I've been to much more inviting places, includng in Portsmouth. Not worth the 10 dollar cover and 10 dollar drinks. One woman was screaming in my ear. Almost felt like they wanted me to leave. I know many of these woman are single moms just working to pay bills. Spent 60 in tips to help em, perhaps. My fault. Doubt I'll go back. But at least the next introvert that steps into the place might get a better welcoming.
