Great vibe, friendly staff and local clientele (possibly skewed by the reviewer being an Englishman abroad). The Greek sausage omelette hit the spot. It's not haute cuisine but it's a great spot for a good value, 4 star breakfast.

For those of us who live on/near Shore Drive, there are plenty of great establishments for breakfast. The problem is everyone else also knows about these great restaurants near the Cape Henry Trail. So, my wife and I stumbled upon this breakfast spot when we couldn't get into one of our favorite places. Milton's doesn't look like much from the parking lot, inside though it is a very friendly atmosphere and a place I would bring family & friends to. This Mom-n-Pop neighborhood place is clearly a local's favorite when you see someone walk in, then watch as the waitress brings their favorite drink while they are sitting down. Our service was equally quick and very friendly with a generous portioned satisfying comfort food breakfast. She had the California Omelet. Nice and fluffy eggs with bacon, tomato, avocado, and cheddar cheese. I had the Country Biscuit Benedict. Take a fluffy biscuit, place a sausage patty on each half, a perfectly poached egg on top, then cover with country sausage milk gravy. Awesome. Her home fries appeared to be in-house prepared with sautéed onion bits. Delicious. I had the cooked-just-right creamy grits. Our coffee cups were never empty. What you'll get here is speedy friendly service, great solid no-frills food, at an affordable price. Our new breakfast alternative on Shore Drive.

This place is incredible. Staff is pro, food is great, atmosphere is relaxed. Found my new breakfast joint in Chics Beach. Highly recommend!

The ambiance is downright homey, cozy, like what a neighborhood cafe should be - the owner sitting at the bar sharing pleasantries with customers. Service was quick and friendly. It wasn’t on the menu but my friend got creative and asked if we can get lobster omelette. The waitress even said they can add avocado slices as well! The lobster omelette was delicious, generous chunks of lobster meat, very fresh avocados in the omelette.

I enjoyed a very pleasant breakfast with a friend. I had a Greek omelette that was very good. The service was excellent. What made it especially nice was that it was not noisy even though most tables were filled. That's a pleasant change from other noisy restaurants where you can't have a conversation. I know that I'll be back since it's so close to home.
