I have gone to MOD Pizza before and enjoyed the food well enough, nothing to go crazy about but okay, the atmosphere as far as decor is nice, but the service at this location has never been great but not terrible either. However, on this particular night I came in with my son for our weekly Mommy and son dinner night on myand neither of the gentlemen working greeted us ... Okay, not the end of the world, maybe they are really working hard and just had a bad moment, though there was literally only one table of people in the place and I am assuming they were either making pizzas for them or a to-go order because otherwise the place was empty. My son went and sat down and I stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge my existence. Nothing for an extraordinarily uncomfortable amount of time. I.E. they saw me, said nothing, kept do what they were doing, and several minutes went by maybe about 4 or 5 ... That's a long time to stand somewhere without acknowledgement or even a "we'll be right with you, sorry for the delay." I would have been completely okay with that and in fact I still stood there and gave grace because who knows what is going on and why something is happening the way it is HOWEVER, then came the thing that made me and my son leave without ordering and why I will not go back to this location. When finally the gentlemen made eye contact with me and was ready to take my order he huffed with exasperation as he asked me, "what do you want?" I then replied, "I'm sorry, am I bothering you? You seem upset." He ignored my question so, I told him what my son's order. He wrote it down and then I guess he thought that was all I was done ordering, so when I started to ordered another pizza he became visibly upset, huffed again tore the paper off that was for my son, and prepared to write my order. At that point I looked at him like he was crazy because clearly he must have been to think I was going to stay and spend my money there. I said, "you know what, we are clearly a bother. Have a nice day," and with that we left and went to Ynot Pizza where we always have amazing service and the food is 10x's better!

Ordered on grubhub, never eaten here before. They got the first order wrong 2 11" pizzas (art, chix, tom, spinach and art, salami, olives, spinach, etc. and pc of cake. Sent a pizza w jalapenos and hot sauce all over it and 1st listed above and no cake. Got refund, but still needed dinner, ordered again the missing pizza and cake. Delivered it quickly, but the dough was gooey, slimy, in center of pizza, and no cake. The slimy texture was nauseating. This was really bad. Messed up 2 orders, messed up the dinner for us and desert and i had to pay fees 2xs and tip twice. NEVER AGAIN and I dont recommend. Very generic, no flavor just gross pizza. Honestly why?Incidentally tried calling restaurant, vm was not specific, pressed 3 got someone sounded like they were at home, told me to call back press 2 that went by nowhere. I tried that b4 contacting grubhub but no answer...sucked!

Food was great and it was ready quick. I guess I went at the end of a dinner rush because the staff wasn't the friendliest and seemed annoyed we got a salad.

A gentleman who is bald with tattoos made my pizzas. He was visibly agitated at literally everything I said. He was slamming things around and very stand offish. I was going to get a beer while I waited, but they were out. Imagine that, a pizza business out of beer, who would have thought? Normally decent, not great, but decent service. But bald tattoo guy needs a drink and a vacation. Avoid that guy.

Ok, for a chain, ordered by the Mod app, request extra crispy pizza didn't happen. Ordered a Greek salad with chicken added, which was not very appealing, tossed in in the trash.

AWFUL customer service. The employees barely acknowledged us and did not speak. It seems most of the focus was on filling online orders rather than serving customers in the store. My pizza sat cooling on the counter for several minutes before it was cut and served because the server didn’t bother to put my name on it. The point of service terminal suggested a tip. Why would anyone tip for bad service? I used to like the place but service has gotten progressively worse. I won’t be going back.

I walked in to pick up an order and wasn't even acknowledged. Multiple people were taken care of in front of me, and I was standing at the register waiting to get served. The little blonde girl shouldn't be upfront if she doesn't know how to give decent customer service. The long haired brunette also walked pasted me several times and acted like I wasn't even there. The store was not busy at the time so I'm wondering if maybe these people just hate their job or what?

You can truly tell the employees that truly put love and time into making sure that this isn't just your ordinary pie. My wife summer would agree with me when I say this is the best pizza location hands down in Virginia period and it's not up for debate. Combine that with customer service that's helpful even when an order comes in wrong they are quick to help fix it immediately. I'm recommending Mods to everyone whom is willing to listen like my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ amen ?

I truly love MOD pizza. When I'm out of town, I always look to see if there's a location and the city I'm visiting. The particular location was very clean, had friendly staff, and had some always delicious pizza. On this trip my wife and I found out you could have sauce of your choosing drizzle on your pizza after it has cooked. She had some buffalo sauce and I had some hot honey, took our pizzas to another level. I will definitely be back when in town.
