Absolutely horrendous customer service at the Lynnhaven Mall location today. Ordered and waited 40 minutes - ended up cancelling the order. There were others waiting just as long as I did. Pathetic situation and not even an acknowledgement/apology for the delay or reason for the wait. Never again.

Very unprofessional. I ordered my food and the lady at the register charged me extra. I went back to get my sauce that I never got but was charged for and saw the lady that gave me the wrong thing pointing at me to her co-worker and laughing….And the cooker was eating the food in the back…stared right at me.

Hope you're not in a rush. If the right manager is working, things will go smoothly but it's rare that you are there the same time she's there.The employees just sit around and tell you it's going to be a wait.If you can actually get the food, it's usually good!This last time, I waited 45+ minutes and left without my food. That has never happened before, not even at McDonald's! :-(

I don’t recommend Popeyes inside Lynnhaven Mall! Workers are rude and unprofessional! They are working with no hairnet and gloves! The cashier has the most attitude! They served me a raw chicken tender! PLEASE JUST CLOSE THAT BRANCH!!!! NASTY! ??

I waited over 15min to asked for my food just to get told they didn’t have any sandwiches then asked for some tenders instead and waited for 10min just to have them throw it at me. On top of that I just saw someone walk off with a sandwich a minute later…

The biscuits are hard and the coleslaw is sticky and smells sour. I called twice. Instead of answering they disconnected the phone. First order and last one at this location.

Has to be THE SLOWEST FAST FOOD EVER! Made an online order at 8:09 PM and didn't walk out with all my food until 8:50. They wait till you get there and ask for your food to even start making it. Whats the point of ordering ahead?! I blame management or lack there of! Would've asked for my money back but the kids were hungry. By the time I went somewhere else and ordered would've been the same time or longer. But this Popeyes is definitely on my no go list.
This place doest deserve 1 star. They are slow and argue with people about the food they can order. Just a bunch of young kids there that care more about standing around and talking. I will never ever go back here.

I'm a professional reviewer and I so happen to be using the restroom. While washing my hands I noticed a Popeyes older gentleman employee use the restroom and not wash his hands. He's bald, white with a hint of Asian looks around 48, he has black glasses. NOT the guy in the back who wears the white apron who looks like in his 60's. Please don't get them confused I also swear the gentleman who didn't wash his hands come put liquid in his clear personal drinking cup at 7:24 pm Saturday on the 17th, he also touched employees shoulders. Very gross, I love the food industry and I'm very disappointed.

I was in the drive thru since I’m in a road trip and usually my experience with the food chain is good. But this is the worse AVOID at all times. The food taste old and not a regular Popeyes. The service is even worse. I asked for honey and the packages they gave me were open and leaking. I told the young girl and try to give it back since I’m in a car and she gave them to me open. She look at me and was like no we don’t take it not even to trow them away. Ugh just horrible avoid if you can. Food horrible and service even worse
