Dinner was amazing! Service was great however drinks could have been a lot better. Disappointed in the margarita flight flavors and the inability to substitute.After dinner the group I was with we went into the lounge area. There was a DJ that kept you dancing. It was a whole vibe. I would definitely go again on a night that there will be a DJ!!
Great ambiance, really good food! We had seats at the chef’s table which was a really nice booth placed in front of the kitchen allowing you to see the open wood grill.I would recommend trying if you have never been, and I will be back!

A swanky, fairly establishment nestled in Laskin Road in Virginia Beach. A top place for happy-hour drinks, spanish-influenced cuisine, and socializing with friends and family. A bit pricy, but worth it, in my opinion. ??

I went tonight for a friend’s birthday dinner. It took 20 minutes before we were even able to order food. The food came out quick, but the only thing I really liked was the Brussels sprouts, but for the price you pay they don’t give much. The enchilada was just meat with a weird tasting tortilla. But the worse part of all I got the chocolate creme brûlée and I ended up paying 11 dollars for something that looked and tasted like chocolate pudding from a box. It was awful. They put gratuity on there, but didn’t tell us that they did. It’s not worth the amount you pay there. I wouldn’t go back.Parking: They have a tiny parking lot and they make you do valet.

Our server was great and so passionate about making sure we had a great experience. We tried a little bit of almost everything and it was all outstanding. Definitely a special night out type of spot but we will definitely be back.... the cucumber margarita was my favorite!

I totally forgot to take pics of the food. But the ambiance was amazing. It was 4 of us and all of our first time visiting. I had the Cadillac Margarita , it was really good! The drinks and food was good for everyone. With the only exception of my ribeye steak. I asked for med-well it came out very dry, all sliced up with the bone away from the steak (which makes it cold faster). Then to get the bill and the steak alone with only one side was $69. It was a descent size steak but not a $69 size. I've seen tomahawk steaks for $70-$80, this was no where near tomahawk size. I will like to return and try other items but just wasn't all around satisfied at this visit.
Overall this place was great, I’ve been waiting a while to go here. Ambiance was great, music was great, food was great, drinks, service, etc. it was all great. Totally worth it!

Had to post this very POSITIVE review!We were welcomed warmly by the host, seated and took care by server Lindsey professionally all evening. Very polite and efficient. Drinks from IPA to home ingredient Spicy Margaritas were excellent. Appetizers from fresh oysters, pork tenderloin & Brussels sprouts were all truly well prepared and presented well. Followed by Smazhing Burger, Short Rib Burrito and Chicken/Rice for main entrees.MUST mention GM John’s name here since he went out of his way to ensure our entire family’s dinner evening was pleasant as well as enjoyable. Truly could tell that the service, food presentation and efficiency was reflection of John’s attitude to serve the restaurant patrons well. Thanks ?John.We left the restaurant feeling well taken of. Awesome food value as well as ambiance.Highly recommended this restaurant.We will be back - soon.

We were squished at a little square side table essentially situated in a walkway. I requested a booth in the notes of our reservation. Would have loved to have been sat at more comfortable area of the restaurant. At one point, our table had a large appetizer plate, our two dinner plates, two glasses and our glass water bottle for the table. There was just not enough room for a comfortable dinner reservation.

Quemar is a beautiful place with great spacious atmosphere. There are two bars, a large dining room and a midsized room for the band to play. They had a bomb playlist playing before the live band started there set. We only came for dressed because there reservations were booked up. The drinks were great it took a long time to get the check after our bartender left the bar for an extended period of time. The valet also took awhile to find our keys but i believe he was new. I liked that they only valet there but those were my only two complaints. I will definitely be back.
