Walked in, sign said “seat yourself”. We sat at a table, a waitress in a green floral shirt with glasses came over, yelled to another staff “clean this table”. He proceeded to come over and spray the cleaner several times, one of which literally made the cleaner land on my hand and phone. The waitress then came over, threw menus on the table and walked away, we said thank you and she turned around and muttered something that I assume was “you’re welcome”. We immediately left which is said because it seemed like a nice place.

I had the pollo loco burrito and fries, the entire meal was salty, I couldn’t finish it. I wanted to send it because but didn’t want to make a deal out of it because everyone else in my group enjoyed their food so I just ordered some wings to go.. when we left I admitted that I didn’t like my food and one by one everyone else admitted that their food was overly salted.. in my group there was the macaroni bowl with shrimp, salty, pollo loco burrito and fries, salty, shrimp tacos with fries, salty and 2 shrimp po boys both also salty.. drinks were good, atmosphere was great beside the flickering lights overhead when they decided to dim the other lights, the waitress wasn’t friendly she always seemed super annoying waiting on us, she also was drinking a beer while we tried flagging her down

Good food. Used to be better. Pho burrito was interesting and tasted great but unfortunately it’s gone from the menu. The menu is turning into standard fare you could get from any restaurant. I get the churrasco fries every time, always delicious.
Had lunch with a friend here, and it was not as good as I remembered from my first visit years ago. Mostly because it was not the cleanest, with a sticky floor and table surfaces. It certainly seems more like a place you go to drink and hang out with friends at night. Service was okay - not friendly (lack of smiles and anything other than basic questions), but not unfriendly either.My California burrito was fine, but my friend had to give back the beans and rice bowl. She said it tasted like it wasn't very fresh, microwaved due to the lukewarm temp in some places and a hot spot, and that the rice was extra salty. It was nice that they didn't charge her, and she did order fries she said she liked. I really appreciated how it was handled.Considerations:1. Very quirky decor. The Disney animated Peter Pan was playing on one of the tvs. They have alternative seating options in the form of swinging chairs. They also have board games.2. You can park for free on the street nearby or in a parking garage.

I love coming here and to me, they have the best fish tacos in town. Ariel was so cool and checked on me frequently without being overbearing! And I’m not sure if this is new, but they had a movie playing near the back of their restaurant which was nice!

I am here with my family and the waitress is just the absolute sweetest, she was constantly refilling my drink when it was getting low and she was quite funny as well. and the fries are abominably immaculate. 10/10

Our office goes to this location often and today was one to remember. Our server spilled some of our drinks and didn’t apologize and the tacos were soggy. I called to speak to management and his apology lacked empathy, sincerity or did not give us a solution. Our company visits here often and are surprised to their lack of professionalism this time around. The establishment is very nice but if your employees can’t even apologize- it dims the shimmer.

This was my first time dining at Quirks. The ambiance was wonderful. The swinging chairs were really cool. The dining area was very spacious. The customer service was excellent! My dining partner and I had chicken tenders/fries/hush puppies and carne asada tacos/fries. The presentation was nice. The chicken tenders were juicy, but I wasn’t a fan of the seasoning used in the breading. It was hard to describe…it tasted like a BBQ grill/smoky flavor. It was quirky (no pun intended). The carne asada tacos were flavorful and a good portion size. If you’re in Virginia Beach’s Town Center, check them out!Parking: If you can’t find a parking spot on the street, you will need to park in one of the nearby parking garages and walk to Quirks.

Very interesting menu. Po boy was good with generous portions of shrimps. The Pork Sammy was good, very tender meat and flavorful, except there were more fat than expected. Drinks are great at very good prices. Very unique fun decor.Pro tip. Go during happy hour. The drinks are even better.

We stopped in after a comedy show for drinks and our waitress JB (Jamie) was attentive and drinks were good. However after paying for our drinks, a group of 4, we left a cash tip. JB came to the table to collect her tip and asked us how was service and then began to tell us the standard tip is 15 to 20%. We left a $13 tip for a little over a $100 check. Her comment to us while collecting her tip was very rude. I've never been anywhere where the waitress tells you how much to tip her. Very rude and will not be back.
