My brother and i came here for breakfast. I love diner/cafe type atmospheres in small towns. Rick's Cafe is just that. My 2 eggs, 2 links, toast w. applesauce and black tea was all cooked perfectly. Our waitress was attentive and lovely. The people who came in were definitely mostly locals or older seniors who usually frequent places such as these. Perfect in what it is. I highly recommend this place if this the vibe youre looking for.

Oh my GOD the food was so good, this is like the platonic ideal of a family diner. We came on a Sunday so the atmosphere was kind of empty but the service was so nice and we got everything quick and good on refills (the coffee is really nice). I got the biscuits and gravy with a side of home fries, and my partner got the pulled pork sand-which, and it all tasted literally so amazing and home-made. Like literally the biscuits were so angelicly perfect and fresh and buttery oh my lord I’m coming back here whenever I’m in Va beach
