Finally ordered some take-out and man.....the price was a little on the high side, but once I opened the bag at home I was pleasantly surprised of the portion sizes. Definitely worth the price and probably one of the best sushi I've had.

Beautiful place! $15 bento box lunch specials. Everything was delicious & fresh. Sushi is a perfect smooth texture. Rice is soft & fluffy. Soup has so much flavor. Teriyaki sauce & house dressing isn't watered down. Everything we ordered was just a smile to brag about.Love how huge this place is! So much room inside with big long booths. Enough space that even when it was crowded, it didn't feel cramped or noisy inside. All of the staff was so nice to us. Highly recommended & definitely coming back!

I ordered online they said it would take 20 minutes but LITERALLY 4 minutes after I placed my order I got a text that my order was ready for pickup. This was kind of annoying cause by the time went to pick up my food it’s was cold and soggy :(. I also ordered miso soup and it was way too salty. Maybe its better in person but i won’t be back anytime soon

I can’t say I have had better sushi in my entire life. Sakura Sushi Bar and Restaurant on Upton drive in Red Mill is in my opinion the best sushi restaurant in our area. The freshness and quality of their sushi is beyond outstanding. They have fish that you do not normally find in restaurants in Tidewater.They have fish that is not commonly found in our area. They have uni, salmon belly sweet shrimp and monkfish liver. The owner Ken and Manger Selena are gracious and inviting people.Next time you want to go out for Sushi you most definitely cannot go wrong eating here

This is by far the best sushi I have ever had. This is my second time coming here two days in a row. I had the spicy girl roll and it is the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The staff are so attentive and friendly. The service was quick and the food was the perfect temperature. This is the place to go if you want quality food and a great experience.

The best place ever!!! I have celiacs, so I can’t have gluten and for a long time I just stopped eating sushi because I could never find a place that would accommodate the substitutions but this place goes above and beyond every time!! The food is so good and the staff is incredible, if I could give more stars I would!!Dietary restrictions: The menu does not advertise gluten free options but they have GF soy sauce and they do everything they can to accommodate you!

FOOD POISONING! Please beware. My family and I went here on 12/24 and three of us got food poisoning from the three rolls we got. My daughter and son only had a California roll and so were spared but we spent a very unpleasant Christmas regretting that we went here for lunch. They refused to give us a refund without us going to the doctor.

Hubby ordered the Hibachi Steak Bento Box; minion and I tried the Volcano Roll, Red Mill Roll, Tuna Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, & Salmon Sashimi. (Not pictured: Moscow Mule that was on point. Not too sweet and appropriately boozy.)Parking: Near shopping center and Walmart; good lighting; ample parking

All family members that had a salmon and tuna roll on 12/24/23 got violently ill afterward. All other meals we had were with friends and family who did not get ill. I called the restaurant to give them notice out of courtesy and was told I needed a doctor's note to get a refund.
