Our first but definitely not our last visit! The view, staff and food was great. We’d recommend the crab cake sandwich, hush puppies and chicken salad plate. Stop in & check it out!

Holy bananas this place is great! Most amazing hush puppies I have ever had...and the staff at the hotel is so friendly! The bar is small, only two or three tables inside, and they aren't open all the time...but well worth the stop for the hush puppies alone! Great view of the beach, will definitely be back in the summer to sit outside. The chef even offered to whip me up some homemade honey butter, but the sauce they already had was fantastic! No frills, but super cute, amazing service and the best food!

Great place, fish of the day was fried flounder and it was very light and melt-in-your-mouth. Also a great view of the beach from inside or outside seating!

Virginia Beach, Virginia -welcome to the smallest bar in Virginia Beach - the “Sea Salt Grill” …the “Sea Salt Grill” is located in the “Capes Resort Hotel” on 20th St & Atlantic Ave AND open all year …the vintage “Capes Hotel” features cool memory pics & original fixtures like the room key wall box …grill master “Bill”, bartender “Casey” and front desk “Crystal” (who gave me a mini historical introduction to the “Capes Hotel”) all gave me “More Smiles Than I Came In With!” …my good L?K’n breakfast scramble by grill-master “Bill” was tasty-riffic …the 3 bar stool seats, 3 indoor tables and several outdoor tables offer a spectacular ocean view …the pool view from the bar makes the bar feel quite spacious …a definite “Run-A-Way Bill” Favorite VB breakfast location option and a super-riffic bike path pARTy Stop …“Run-A-Way Bill” was here!Friday 11.24.23

Fun little grill, good food and service! I had a patty melt and my friend had She Crab soup and a BLT, yummy!

The grilled medium rare Ahi was great. The Mahi fish and chips was dry, crumbly and inedible. Crab cake appetizer was good. The coleslaw sides were fermenting and tasted like garbage. The ketchup has been recycled enough times that it tastes very stale. The waitress was nice and attentive. There's a lot of nice seafood restaurants in the area. This one is mediocre at best.

Yellow fin tuna bites delicious and hush puppies were awesome too! Quaint little patio dining looking over the beach. Server was excellent!

If you miss your mom's kitchen you can find it here. Incredibly relaxing environment combined with amazing views of the ocean. Plenty of delicious breakfast options to choose from, and the cozy dining and kitchen area makes this place feel like having breakfast at home.

Better than i thought it would be. Simple menu. Teeny tiny place. Mostly what you see on the outside is it. Two person operation. But the food is good. We were pleasantly surprised.

My sister and I love the beach and normally go to Ocean Lakes in SC (been going there over 30+ years). Well, I feel like a higher power had other plans for us this time. Due to the unexpected passing of our sister, we needed to get away, reflect and grieve, and we ended up at Virginia Beach. We stayed at the Capes Hotel and discovered this small, intimate grill attached to the hotel with the best food (freshly prepared) with outdoor seating, and amazing service. We fell in love with Jeff, Tanya, and David. The weather was perfect, 75-80s, clear skies and a beautiful full moon. But the best part was Tanya and the staff. We were there Thursday-Monday and ate every meal there, and it was incredible (we did break for pizza one time). I would give them an overall 10! I can't wait to go back ?????.

Ate at the Sea Salt 3 times during our visit to VB. Their portions were large and the food was delish! Best steak and mushroom soup! Burger was well done and seared , fries were perfect! Give them a try! You won't be disappointed!!
