We went in a couple of times over the past few months. I’m very confused why the manager Chris still has a job here. Every time we come in, he is behind the bar looking down at his phone watching a loud video while the rest of the staff is working hard and having to move around him. When he does get off his phone to talk to customers, its often inappropriate conversations about women or gambling. He is not approachable, never smiles, and has terrible things to say about the staff and the owner. I’ve heard him call the female servers and bartenders stupid and incompetent multiple times, and he talks about his plans and the other staffs plans about quitting. If you want to quit so bad, why not just leave?Anyways: I think the rest of the staff works very hard, they all seem to enjoy their jobs, and the food is amazing. My favorite items are the tater tot nachos and the tuna salad. We have sat at the bar, a table, and outside and have met a new face every time. We have even checked out the back bar before and it is always kept clean and they have a great bourbon selection. The bartender who usually stays back there has lots of energy and gets to know everyone who goes back there. I wish I could rate higher, but I don’t think me and my husband will be back for a long time.

One of the best places i have been to in Virginia Beach! Food was excellent and delicious! Nice beer selection on tap! Service was top notch! The music made the night! Come by and support a great local business! 10 Stars if that was a thing!

Have been here a few times before and food was always great..this time my burger came out very undercooked (I asked for it very very well done and jokingly told them to burn it). As I said came out rather raw..asked if they could cook it longer and the server took it back and brought it out maybe 2 minutes later…still VERY undercooked..needless to say I ate the bun but not the burger..she asked if it was better and I said no. Didn’t ask if I would like anything else or take it off my bill or anything. We never complain when eating out..not those kind of people but am so disappointed in our food tonight

Service was slow and there was hardily anyone in the restaurant. We sat in the bar area and the beers were waiting to be delivered but the bar tender was too busy talking to a seemingly significant other to help out the waiter. Many taps were unavailable and had not been communicated to the server. Food took a long time to come out, and was just okay. Will not be returning to this restaurant again.

The entire staff are always on point and ready to assist with all your favorites. The bar is extremely well stocked with whiskeys and bourbon as well as all the big hitters.Vegetarian options: If you ask I'm sure they can find something to your likings.

The last 3 years were pretty good. However, the last 3 times here has been the pits. The food is now mediocre at best. They are using cherry/grape type tomatoes. My wife wanted tomatoes on her sandwich, and they put four slices on the sandwich that were the size of dimes. The mixed drinks are not as strong. Beer is still good. We miss the previous servers, they would check every few minutes. Now, it seems like employees camp out behind the bar. It is a shame. Was a really good place. Now, we will get a beer and sandwich at Pungo Pizza

Not worth it. 1 of 6 people in there and even though I signaled for check- the bartender still ignored the ques to continue talking to other people for - long duration. Felt weird. Not a place I see myself going back to.

The sliders are delicious, and I loved the Avocado toast. The bar staff is very nice.

Waitress acted like we were bothering her when we showed up. She did warm up after an hour or so but still kept attitude the entire time. She wore her airpods while seving us and seemed to be paying attention half the time. As we stood in a bar with live music on a Saturday, she complained that our group was loud. The one bartender had a similar attitude, while the other was super friendly and helpful. I don't need to go back, with so many other options in the area.
