We came on a Saturday and the atmosphere was relaxed. It wasn’t too busy. We had the porcini (mushroom) soup, and fresh pasta with shrimp and asparagus. The portions are very manageable. The service is nice. Highly recommended for a nice date or a romantic evening.

Food was delicious and the service was attentive and fast. It's very small in there, but I love the set up. The menu is on the smaller side, but my friends and I enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. We had the wedge salad with salmon, the steak and the carbonara (all which were delicious).

This place has quickly become one of our go-to restaurants for their delicious and fresh food, great service and fabulous decor. The tomatoes in all their dishes are super fresh and bursting with flavor! The bruschetta is literally the best I’ve ever had, with a perfect balance of seasoning, bread texture, and bright and sweet tomatoes. Highly recommend making this place your next date night, dinner with friends, or take out spot!

Nice atmosphere and good service. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. The pasta was aldente, which I guess is authentic…just not what I’m used to. However, the meal had zero flavor. It was expensive for what we got - small portions with no seasoning. I wish you the best, but it was a one and done for me.

This place was phenomenal. So fresh, it is definitely my second favorite Italian place we've tried so far. Service was absolutely amazing and atmosphere is so calming as its a small place.

My mother and I were in VB for a conference and after looking at reviews, thought The Veranda would be a great choice for Italian. When we arrived at 6:10pm on a Wednesday, there were three open tables and seating for four at the bar. We were asked if we had a reservation and when we said we did not, the hostess (owner's wife from what I could tell from reviews on here) said they were fully booked for the evening and apologized. Since my mom is in her 80's, when we returned to the car, I looked at my "Open Table" app for alternative dining options and to my surprise, there was "The Veranda Trattoria" on Open Table with four slots left for the evening...one for 6:30pm, which I took. When we returned a few minutes later, the hostess sent another employee to ask us if we had reservations and much to her surprise...WE DID! She didn't understand how and I showed her my email confirmation. After some discussion and searching on an IPad, the two women came to the unfortunate (for them) decision that they had to seat us after we were told literally seven minutes before they were totally full. Once you get past the fact you were profiled, lied to and then deemed unworthy to eat there...the food was good. My mother had salmon pasta and I had Arrabiata. The pasta was homemade and serving sizes were appropriate for the price. The restaurant is small and conversations are not private. When we were seated, the table next to us had two gentlemen waiting for their food. When staff checked on them after their meal, we heard one man apologize to the waitress for not making a reservation and then thanked her for seating them without one. My advice is to make a reservation is you intend to dine here...save yourself and your guests the embarrassment of being sent away even when they have room to seat you.

Oh this place was amazing! When I walk in here, I got the vibe of simple but homey. Our experience is great. First of, we started our meal with their appetizers. We choose the Burrata cheese, it was so refreshing. Then for our main course was Seafood pasta for my friend, the sauce and pasta was made from the scratch and just perfectly seasoned. The shrimp and scallops were fresh. Then for mine, it was Newyork Steak Tagliata- it's was overcooked a little bit but man it tasted so good! With all spices in it and the meat was still so tender!. Finally for our dessert, we got the Tiramisu! This is legit! I could tasted the bitterness of the coffee (which is like) with perfect sweetness and creaminess, it really blend well! And of course Ina, our server is great!. She's so attentive and so kind. So guys this place is a must try :D

It's cute, cozy, and welcoming. The food is excellent! Everything tastes so fresh and you can taste the love put into every dish. A lot of new Italian spots have opened in the area, but this is one of my favorites. Pasta from scratch and cooked perfectly. Tiramisu is so delicious. Can't wait to come back!!
