Great spin on traditional sushi! I am not a sushi person, but, the sushi here is excellent and the service is stellar!! Not your typical sushi you find everywhere.

A great place if you're looking for simple and quiet as far as a sushi bar and kitchen goes. The focus is mostly nigiri, maki and then teppan entrees. Didn't have the teppan but had a couple of rolls and nigiri. Remember, sushi is less about the freshest fish and more about its preparation, which is excellent in this regard. It all leads to deliciousness in everything I had. The staff are polite and professional, they are very sociable. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.

Very impressive family sushi restaurant with passion for their food! They put the chain sushi restaurants in the area to shame. Here I started with individual pieces of sushi, and then a Virginia Eel Roll with a bowl of miso soup. The temperature of the fish was slightly chilled below room temp, so as you eat, it gets to the right temperature for eating sushi. The quality was quite good, not Tsukiji Market good, but good for this region of the US. The rice was at the perfect temp, however, the texture could use improvement. And of course, extremely generous amounts of fish.It seems like they actually make their miso soup with paste rather than the cheap powdered soup, which is very rare. Only it needs to be tuned down a bit(too much miso), then it'd be perfect. The hole in the wall vibe is very reminiscent to restaurants in Japan, with menu items posted on the wall. If you lived in Japan before, then this place will give you a bit of notalgia, as if you're walking through the alleys of Yokosuka. So if you are in the mood for sushi, don't spend your fortune at a restaurant that feeds you more rice than fish, and fish more frozen than chilled.Trust your local Asian food snob and Come visit This Old House!

My husband and I have been visiting this sushi place for years and I must say, the chef's skills are exceptional! Every piece of fish is perfectly cut and we can't get enough of their sashimi. We are extremely grateful for the amazing culinary experience that they provide. Mr. Lee, you rock!- Ceviche Girl

Fantastic food (servings were bigger than I was anticipating), and the server was fun, thoughtful, and amusing. The only small drawback was that the incense was very strong at first (although I was at a table next to it) and I'm not used to it but the smell lessened as the meal went on. Fantastic time overall and my family and I found our new favorite sushi place.

Hands down my favorite place for sushi! I have been coming to see Mr. Lee since around 1997 or so and just love that time stands still here and the food stays great! I bring everyone here when they want the real deal, good stuff!

Always an amazing experience! Out of all the sushi places in the area this is a hidden gem! We rarely go anywhere else. The sushi is amazing, the environment is cozy, the hot saki is on point. We always leave here extremely happy!
