Not to bad, I wish this was in a little better area. The people hanging around in the parking lot almost turned us off. We are glad we stuck it out. Real down home Soul food that will fill the spot till Mom can whip us some. Reminded me of a family reunion without the stupid shirts. I will be back, collards were outstanding!!

I'm always a little bit skeptical about soulfood restaurants since my mother is a wonderful southern cook. Candied yams, collard greens, fried chicken and more is always on the menu at my parents' house for Sunday dinner. So you kind of have to drag me into a soulfood restaurant (and it helps if you offer to pay). But I like Big Daddys! It's just like mom makes with a special touch of Big Daddy flavor so mom can take the night off. The décor is low key and comfy, so it's a nice place to drop by for a quick lunch or stop in and have a drink if you're not too hungry. This is a pretty popular place, so call ahead or expect to wait a few minutes for your totally worth it hot plate.
