Adorning the walls in all directions is likely the largest wine selection in the area. If you have trouble choosing, just opt to do your own tasting from the multiple self serve wine dispensers throughout. Have a high end Cabernet that you’ve been wanting to try? These let you give your palate a taste or let you have just a glass. But the evening really is at its fullest if Yianni makes the rounds. His stories are the best. This is a Virginia Beach must!!!

Met family here for dinner and it did not disappoint. In our group of 10 we had multiple wine preferences. We were able to get by the glass and by the bottle. I had a cocktail which was excellent and our kids had mocktails and felt so special. Staff was amazing and accommodating to the kids. Food quality was amazing, did not take photos of it all.

We shared the muscles with chorizo off the new menu, absolutely delicious. I had the halibut and my husband had the veal Marsala special. Both were cooked to perfection. We have always been a fan of the bread pudding but decided to try the carrot cake, it was also amazing.

First, let me say, I'm not much for writing reviews, but when you come across a restaurant that leaves you with nothing less than perfection, I figured I'd do my part and let others know how good this place is. From the food to the service, everything was top notch. Do yourself a favor and put Yiannis restaurant at the top of your list for one of the best experiences in dining locally.
I've been going to this establishment since it was a little hole in the wall serving only wine and cheeses, to being one of my favorite fine dining restaurants. With a wall to wall wine selection, a sophisticated cocktail menu, and quite a list of classic beers, there is a drink for everyone. We always start off with the Saganaki which is delicious and an experience in of itself. From a nice ribeye, to the crabcakes, I've never ordered something I didn't love. You cannot leave without ordering the bread pudding, it is the best one I've ever had.
My server McKenzie was phenomenal. Not only was she extremely attentive, without being annoying, she was an absolute delight to chat with and she is a great ambassador for Yiannis'. Her recommendations were on target!

Great wine selection in the shop & food is n the restaurant. Nice system for trying wines by the sampler or glass. Bottles bought in the shop can be consumed in the restaurant Arno extra cost, which was s a really good deal. Also helpful that The wine steward is knowledgeable & really helpful.Not so happy with their wine club though - communication was nonexistent. They asked for myemail address when I registered - no idea why they don't send emails to the club members. That would be helpful - especially for those of us who live a ways away.

If you like wine and good food then you need to check out Yiannis. I only stopped in for about 30 minutes because we were early for our plans. We sat at the bar and Anthony took great care of us. He immediately brought us some delicious bread and butter and we utilized the self serve wine machines. You can do a taste, 1/2 pour or a whole. There is a whole range of prices too. The bread was delicious. I definitely want to go back and have dinner. It is very pricy but I am sure it's delicious. While we were at the bar we could see someone hand stuffing olives with blue cheese. WOW! It's a quiet and classy atmosphere. Great for a anniversary or birthday. I am looking forward to going back and enjoying the whole experience.
