This was our first time here. We live out of the area and drove about 165 miles north (round trip) to meet friend who drove from Maryland (200 miles round trip). We all love Indian food. The ambiance was fine. I was surprised to find a baby cockroach on the table and this had me scanning the floors at times. The food was very good. The Gajar Halwa (Indian carrot dessert was a bit watery and not sweet). The Gulab jamun was very good, but not warmed enough. The kids said the Mango lassi was not as thick and cold as they are use to. There was a gentlemen waiter who coughed often and sounded sick and this concerned us. The staff also seemed to be in a hurry for us to go, although they did not close for another 30-40 minutes. They seemed to be doing the best they could, but not too interested in being there. We had a fine experience, but was hoping this restaurant would be one of our go to meeting places in Warrenton. We thank you and wish you all well.

Good food but it was a bit salty. My sister agreed as well. Not the case for momo dumplings which were freshly made. Will return to try some other dishes.

A hidden gem in Warrenton. We enjoyed the garlic naan, taj butter chicken and aloo gobi!Kid-friendliness: Brought my son - he enjoyed the dinner and the blend of Nepalese and Indian cultures.

We entered the restaurant At 7:40pm. It closes at 9:00pm. The guy at the bar just wanted us to leave. All the time we were eating he stood right next to us to make us leave. It was really uncomfortable. If you don’t want people to come near closing time then don’t accept an order.

My husband, two year old, and myself went here on a whim and boy was it the BEST IDEA. Top 3 things we love about this place:1. All food is made to order. It comes out steaming and delicious!! The Nepalese Momo took them 20 minutes and it wa worth it. My daughter liked them a lot!2. The portions were big and robust. No shredded chicken here! These were big chunks of chicken in rich sauces. Excellently prepared and expertly plated.3. The service was great! My water glass never got below half and my husband got their iced tea and he had about 5 cups of it , again his cup never empty! We will be there again!!!!Vegetarian options: Lots and lots of veggie options! All flavorful and well made.Kid-friendliness: They were great to my 2 year old. I asked for some rice quickly because she was hungry immediately they brought out a children’s water and rice within two minutes!

This is our go to Indian restaurant. We almost always just get the food for takeout. It's always packaged nice, put into a stiff paper sack, and brought to you warm as soon as you arrive. The food is delicious. Recommend.

Have ordered here twice in the past 2 weeks. Really enjoyed everything we ordered!! The vegetable samosas were crispy and the filling was moist. My favorite is the malai kofka which is fantastic here! The sauce was perfectly seasoned! The rice was moist and not sticky. Will definitely order here again!

Food was outstanding. We had the Mango Chicken and Butter Chicken, both of which were very tender and cooked to perfection. Will definitely eat here again when in the area.

Best Indian food in Northern Virginia. The servers are kind and hardworking. Online orders keep them very busy, but the still treat you with kindness always. The butter chicken, chicken lollipops, and lamb rogan josh are my favorites.

Ordered from Taj Palace using Door Dash. The samosas were the biggest I've ever had and the butter chicken was amazing. The sauce was a perfect consistency and the chicken was great quality. Looking forward to dining in the restaurant soon!

My friend and I came here after camping overnight. It was our first real food that wasn’t nuts and seeds in a while so maybe this is biased. But the ambience, the service, and the MFING FOOD WERE SUPERB. We were greeted kindly and both got chicken tikka masala and garlic naan to go and we absolutely devoured in the car. Literally perfect. Such perfect amount of spice tender chicken the BREAD guys were going feral over it. Delish
