“My family recently moved to the area from Arkansas and we've passed this little gem several times on our way to Virginia Beach. We finally stopped today and definitely glad we did! The staff/owner were all very friendly and welcoming, great atmosphere, and delicious, tender and flavorful wood smoked meats in large portions. Highly recommended and we will be back!“
“This Hardee's is great!I normally don't expect too much from a fast food restaurant, but this place is the exception.The food is hot and fresh.The parking is easy if you happen to be dragging a trailer behind you.Those 2 items would be enough to make me happy, however...The staff is super friendly and polite and that pushes this fast food place ahead of the others.Fast food made hot and fresh,Easy in and out,The most friendly and polite staff around.Definitely worth the stop!!“
“It's rare for me to have everything go right at a McDonald's, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were rather busy but very little wait time, and everyone was polite. They ran out of tea for drive thru but the employee at the window was so nice about going to the lobby to check and making more quickly if not that I didn't even want them to do it. I was grateful for the offer but they were busy, we had several teas and it was about 9pm. We can happily drink something else at that point. The food was good, fries we fresh. I gave 5 stars because all around I was thankful for their service quickly, kindly providing a warm meal to a car of boys who had just played a hard football game. If I had to be extra picky, I'd say the parking lot isn't fun, but that's not their fault sooooo“
“The only bbq on 460 open on Sundays and thank goodness it was since it was such surprise how delicious the bbq is. The owner was so excited to talk about how their brisket is amazing, the brisket burger and the different sauces they make IN house. We will always stop by here on the way and back from the beach! And this servings are huge! Had the rob platter and the meat fell off the bones. The cooked cabbage was perfect and the Mac and cheese had some breading in it and delicious cheese- should have asked what type of cheese. My partner had the G-thang meal. Wow! Definitely a creation made for a a local and glad it made it on the menu!! Definitely stop by and pick up the brisket too! Marlow has won all those bbq competitions for a reason. Look for the smokers in front of restaurants and enjoy the most tender bbq around the area.“
