The staff makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. I highly recommend the Bourbon / Whiskey Flights! Very friendly and accommodating, especially when it came to my wife's nut and seafood allergies.

Copper Fox is a great craft distillery with amazing spirits and a really informative tour. Our guide Gabriel was extremely knowledgeable and one of the staff members involved in a wide swath of the process of creating these spirits, so he gave a very engaging and energetic tour. It's amazing what Copper Fox produces for their relatively small scale. Highly recommend the tour and tasting room, and consider bringing some home as well!

Very disappointed in home kit. Cask continually leaked, even following directions. Loss of $109.Warm atmosphere at disterlly. Had a great sampling and drink at Williamsburg Christmas Market.

This is a great place to explore local products. They make mostly whiskeys, and a very uniquely flavored gin. Go there when they have a food special for a full experience. The pizza from the Thursday vendor (bald guys) was great.Cocktails were great as well. Five stars on Yelp, can only recommend. No beer or wine here.

We had an huge good time there tonight! The whiskey was fantastic and the charcuterie, delish. We learned alot about this place and the making of the mash..so welcoming and clean. The friendly servers were awesome. This is Williamsburg's special little gem on Capital Landing that we will find our way back to again and again! Next time with a group of friends!

Copper Fox had a strong focus on the community, which I discovered when I came across their booth at the Christmas Market downtown. After a small tasting, we received a card that allowed us to have a full tasting at their distillery. Excited, we convinced our group to visit the distillery, which turned out to be quite spacious. They had various attractions such as a love sign, tours showcasing their production process, a shop, and a bar serving delicious cocktails and small bites. We opted for a table on the patio where we enjoyed a tasting and tried their signature cocktails. Personally, I loved their creamy Hot Toddy-inspired drink, and the pretzels were a great snack to accompany the tasting experience. As we checked out, we couldn't resist purchasing cute stickers and adorable socks from their store. I was impressed by how involved they were in different community events, as the person we had seen earlier in the morning was now working in the store. The whole experience had a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

Spent a few hours here and took the tour. We were the only ones asking for a tour (it was a weekday) and they were still generous enough to offer it. Rick (the owner) is very knowledgeable and also very personable. After the tour he wanted to know which whiskeys we thought were the best in the tasting room and also offered an extra one. I walked away with a bottle of Copper Fox whiskey and can say I'm definitely now a fan! Looking forward to seeing more great things from this distillery.

I had a lot of fun with the whiskey flights. They had a variety of interesting flavors, some seasonal. The staff was attentive and warm.We were unable to take the tour, something to look forward to on our next visit.

An enchanting afternoon at Copper Fox Distillery, just moments from the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, unfolds like a libations symphony. Nestled in a meticulously remodeled hotel, the ambiance is warmed by a crackling fireplace at the entry. Beyond a discreet bookshelf lies the tasting room, reminiscent of a secret speakeasy. Our journey began with warm greetings from Lana and Jessie, artisan mixologists par excellence, who illuminated the essence of the distillery and its current offerings. Embarking on this liquid adventure, the Spiced Cranberry Mule, a debut creation featuring rosemary-infused simple syrup and adorned with plump cranberries, proved a delightful overture. Not typically a whiskey enthusiast, my companion was swayed by Lana and Jessie's suggestion--the Newtown Sour. Its harmonious marriage with the spirits earned enthusiastic praise. Our culinary exploration continued with a Flatbread adorned with ethereal Brie, crisp Granny Smith apples, and luscious onion marmalade--an appetizer of divine proportions, and I am told the sweet and savory marmalade is made by the amazing Lana herself! The crescendo of flavors continued with a meticulously curated Meat and Cheese Board, showcasing locally sourced cheeses and meats, complemented by an array of pickled delights. Lana and Jessie, virtuosos of mixology and service, orchestrated an experience that transcended the ordinary. As we sipped and savored, they unveiled a tapestry of upcoming events, casting a spell that beckons a return--most notably, a promise to revel in the traditional Irish dancers on St. Patrick's Day come spring. This culinary sojourn, accompanied by tales spun by our maestros of libation, left an indelible mark.In reflection, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary, compelling a return to savor more and, undoubtedly, to secure a piece of Copper Fox Distillery's craftsmanship at my local ABC store! Lana and Jessie, true gems in the realm of mixology, elevated our afternoon to an unparalleled level of delight. Their knowledge, craft, and expertise were not just remarkable but, indeed, the secret ingredients that made our entire experience truly amazing. In the symphony of flavors and tales spun, Lana and Jessie emerged as the maestros, turning an already memorable visit into a masterpiece of culinary and libation artistry!!

Friendly folks who welcome dogs. Tasty food and whiskey. We went off hours and it was tranquil and comfortable in the tasting room. Will definitely return the next time we're in the area. Two thumbs-up and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys whiskey and/or cocktails.

Very beautiful distillery. We loved the entryway, reminiscent of an old farm house. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. They offered a $10 tour but we declined, we only came for a quick few drinks for a friends birthday. We especially loved the outdoor seating. The seating is very open and we enjoyed the fire pit. The cocktails were delicious and the staff offered us $5 Blonde Mary's because it was the Sunday special. It was all of our first time visiting and we would definitely be back! 10/10 ambiance and drinks.
