The ambience and decor was lovely and comfortable. Our waiter Carlos was very genial and helpful. The food came very quickly. I had scallops, corn, grits, and green beans. That were the best scallops I have ever had an addition scallops or plentiful amazingly. It was all delicious with green beans and vegetables all cooked perfectly and tasty Had fried green tomatoes. I asked to speak to the chef who is Ken Brown. He was very generous with his time to spend a few minutes with us. My husband had tuna with Matt and cheese, which was delicious. We had complementary cornbread and hush puppies to begin with we have been in many five star restaurants , and this was the best food we’ve ever had

Calamari was from a bag and way too salty. Fush tacos and blackened tuna also very salty. What a bummer . Service was fine.

The restaurant is the best for a nice seafood outing. The service was excellent and every bite I took was beyond expectations. I highly recommend everyone to try it.

Staying in the heart of Williamsburg for the weekend my partner and I decided to try this restaurant. The vibe is nice, clean, open, and welcoming. Service could use a tad bit of improvement in the attentiveness department - I should never have to ask for a refill. The greatest issue and concern was when my spinach and artichoke dip arrived to the table. It was extremely tasty, but after a few bites something got caught in my throat - I originally thought it was a long strand of spinach halfway down my throat when I started coughing it up.It was not spinach. It was a long piece of plastic. I spoke with the manager who was very apologetic, but visibly doubtful and seemed as if he didn’t want to issue any merit to my problem. I asked him to review the camera footage. He came back to the table and notified me that he would remove it from the bill. That was it. I will not be going here again.

Worst seafood restaurant - we went there for the first time for a Saturday lunch based on Google review. ordered a calamari, it was dry, too salty. Ordered two entries: The fried seafood was so bad,not even fresh. The fish for the day is so dry, and again not fresh at all. Overall the food was even worse than the average sports bar. I really don't understand how this restaurant could get that many reviews.

Went to eat at Fat Tuna while in Williamsburg celebrating my birthday. Was not sure about the place when we first came in because it was very loud and someone’s child was screaming on and off and we arrived without a reservation. However, the owner quickly found a table for us within a matter of minutes and we were fortunate enough to have Carlos L. as our server. We was very polite and friendly. He went above and beyond. We had a dozen oysters on the half shell which were fantastic and very fresh. My husband and I shared a Fat Tuna Boat. Basically, the same thing as a Lowcountry boil. It was absolutely fantastic. In no way did they skrimp on the seafood. It was packed full of lobster, snow crab, mussels, clams, shrimp, etc. food is definitely a plus and I would recommend and would definitely come back. I would also recommend Carlos. He was constantly moving and had a lot of tables, but never missed a beat and took care of all of our needs without fail. Great restaurant, great food, and great service!

Absolutely delicious entrees and appetizers. Server was attentive without being obtrusive.Sorry, forgot to take pictures, but the portions are enormous and cooked just right . Come hungry! We ate early but I suspect that later on this place might be a little noisy. Large ope dining room and very long bar in a college town
